Why Running Start and How Do I Know I'm Ready?

Running Start is a statewide partnership between high schools and community and technical colleges in Washington. It enables high school juniors and seniors to take courses on a college campus and apply credit toward both a high school diploma and a college degree. Students meet standard for admission by placing at college level English on WCC placement tests.
