Beautiful garden, David! It gets better and better as years go by. The plants are gorgeous and the light coloured gravel is just perfect. So soothing to the eyes. Truly enjoyed this tour. Can’t wait for this beautiful garden to mature! 👏🏼❤️🌺🌼🌸🌵💚
@@CACTASTIC loved the garden tour, David. Great footage with the hummingbird as well 😊 Thank you for sharing with us. Have a wonderful day and rest of the week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
@@Cactimania Thanks Daz! It was so nice to have the hummingbird come visit for the garden tour. Though I may have bribed her with with a bit of free Aloe nectar 🤣
Excellent tour David 🙂 Love the hummingbird 😎 I've got a Toothpick cacti about the same size and my Calendrinias are just coming into bud. Think you're a bit ahead of us 😄
Thanks Ziggy. The hummingbird stopping by while recording was a nice surprise. The Calendrinias just started blooming here with our short mild winter and wont be in full bloom until April ☺️
Your garden is beautiful and I love hearing the cool names these plants all have! OMG! Such cool timing to get to watch that hummingbird!!!! That was awesome! Do any of your plants attract painted lady butterflies? My daughter is raising butterflies to release (all 5 turned to chrysalises yesterday), so let us know when it is their migrating time if you see any painted lady butterflies your way-maybe they came from here! ;-D
So cool Heather! We certainly have painted lady butterflies here in California. I remember a few years ago there was heavy rains in southern California causing a great migration of these butterflies. I'm not very familiar with their host plants, but I'm already busy researching which plants they like that would do well in my garden. Thanks so much for this comment! And keep me updated on your butterflies, I want to hear all about them! 🦋💚🦋
By volunteer plant I meant that it started to grow there by itself. I noticed it when it was a tiny seedling and now its grown into that big plant you see in the video.
That beautiful hummingbird!!! : O You are so lucky! The garden looks amazing ^^
