Making a general guide where you have 3 sheep and a treasure is kinda not general at all. I mean, you got a pretty lucky spawn in the first place, which gave you the opportunity to build all that stuff in the first year.
I do a few things differently, I get Carpentry Mastery instead of quality of life and I build a brewers instead of a healers - the healers take forever to bring happiness back up and I would rather have high production of workers over high health bars for no reason and an idle healer who isn't farming food. Quality of life has a much greater affect later if you get brewers first,
Do you not clear tiles with your warchiefs? How do they not just die? Having brewers doesn't help with that. And even if you don't have that much to clear, having reduced production on your warchiefs sounds like something you'd want to avoid, seeing as they are the backbone of the clan
Going carpentry instead of QoL for me brings you the benefits of: Have cheaper upgrades (so more upgrades) Faster stable economy Probably higher population early But the trade off is: 2 villagers sitting there just to bring you happiness (so your pop needs to be +2 than mine at least) When converting, you're probably negative happiness (unless you have feeling safe) You lose 1 building slot (which is a bottleneck sometimes as horse) As per your point on healing, i dont understand. You need to clear your tiles so your warchiefs eventually get wounded, how do you heal them? Also, idle healers do farm food, they don't when they heal.
@@baguetteDuGame Each brewer seems to bring 2.5 happiness and I typically am not worried about the building slot at this time because the production rate of villagers is so high. I would do a comparison of timing from your build to mine, obviously there will be variation between your set tiles but I think you'll see the benefit of having faster production and the cost of the building slot over healers first.
@@SoelengaaerbagAaseneed The 2 warchiefs with bodyguard can clear just about any tile, especially after forging relic. You'll find with the build that if you mine the iron first and then your stone tile and then forging you hit your Jord blessing very quickly to allow for upgrades around 16 food when you can get your relic and clear 2nd tear tiles. It times out perfectly and the chiefs never die.
Food and Wood are only here to sustain your army, krowns to buy it. Let's say you want to go for other type of victory than just domination, that would not be the case of your opponent. You need krowns to defend and a lot of them. If you play in 1v1, you should always expect at least 10 troops attack in 802. 10 troops is 600 krowns. Building your relic + altar + 10 troops in 802 is clearly impossible with only 1 dock in 802. Further more, to what purpose would your 3 free villagers would be useful? Once you reach 802, food and wood are just there for you not to get sick. So I would even argue that you should consider building a 3rd dock or trade center if you sit on a lot of food and wood.
@@baguetteDuGame well you didn't realy anwser the question, what if you cant do more then one dock ? what is the BO with only one coast and what with 2 (i beleve you can still play dock with 2 coast but you cant make 18 troops) but when you only have one coast ? do you still take shipbuilding lore even with only one dock? do you go for market and trade center only or still build one dock? With Tier 2 of Leadership, you get the weapons buff of all your units to your warchiefs. Combined with the warchief relic, both your warchief are killing machines. But you also can make a army mix if you lack krowns.
@@baguetteDuGame ah ok, ty for info :) We were playing with friends now for 3 hours in 1 matchup. Tried to do everything as horse to kill lion. Its just imposible... even 40 units 10+7 atk are dying vs 30 from lions side.
You want blitz build ? I attack December 801 (except in 1o1 against bear;)) with 8-10 axes its a winner every time - Try excavation>ship>sharpaxes>weaponsmith>fur coats> feelinggood > legendary heroes > freya. You mine stone first, up townhall, 1 ship and scouts. You have 3 wood, 4 food, 5 sailors. Then mine iron, forge axes and relic. Be sure to have 200 food and go ;)
2 beach is fine. One beach is trickier. You need to go for the trade center upgrade and lore. If you lack happiness at 20 pop, do not hesitate to upgrade a house. You really need to plan well the placement of thz civilian buildings you want to upgrade to have +1 happiness for each.
@@baguetteDuGame if 2 beach are fine why build then 3 docks ? Mostly of time i see not all of your docks are full. So with only 2 beach I upgrade both docks then or still only 1 ?
@@aliceliddell3467 yes 2 docks upgraded are fine. But if you have 3 or more, its good to have 2 upgraded and others non upgraded. Because when you will convert your troops, attack but dont win, you need fast recover. If you have more sailors than your opponent, you can send a second wave much faster. So the other boats are just there in case i need a burst of krown or for recovery.
Why no legions military path?, I mean horse chiefs are weak even with relic, tactition and all other buffs, better to do 5 troops more and have 5 atk more
Warchiefs with relic + weapons buff + double bodyguard are really really strong. They can easily kill most of the other warchiefs without other armies. Plus, if your game lasts long enough and you get legendary heroes, they litterally are beasts. Legion will only be better if you upgrade at least 4 or 5 camps. That would require mining more stone, so you'd be ready much later. Legion is also good once you hit the 1500 mil xp mark. And that's not the case for horse in the first fight. Commander gives you also the defense bonus which is quite huge and the warcry that you can use with 2 warchiefs. I once had a fight as boar against horse with 20 troops each. I had legion with soliders having 10+11 attack power. He had 10+4 attack power. He destroyed me because his warchiefs and defense were just too good.
@@baguetteDuGame well maby, but legions give 25% sellf for troops(still +6 for next soldier but each),so you can go for 2nd,3rd army after your main army die, this is good for long fights. The main thing that legions do is that bodyguard that force to atack them is massive fights ,so horse chiefs not too strong, but they are tanky(well all chiefs suck in massive fights in terms of dps),they remind me torfin, that doesn't do dmg but tank.in my opinion get 22-25 troops indead of 20-22 and have more dmg in late games is better,i agree that tactic is fine,if you get like 1 fight, but ffa northgard after 803 is like warhammer, non stop war.
