Elemis balm is so expensive for product that isn’t on your face for long. I have tried the ELF, Good Molecules, and Inkey Lists oat cleansing balms. All work, but the Banilla Co Clean It Zero balm I have now is so quick & efficient! They have multiple formulas, but the original in the pink jar is what I have tried. Great to take makeup off quickly and easy to rinse.
Thank you for being so honest, I have wasted such a lot of money purchasing dupes Recomended by influencer’s in makeup and clothing. Once again thank you from the UK xxx
Great idea for a video! I like my makeup to be curated to the absolute best products in each category. Buying 5 different drugstore foundations is more expensive than one amazing one.
Elemis is having a 25% off sale, I finally got the cleansing balm! As always, love your videos Risa! Your recommendations are always spot on! Thank you for being authentic and honest!
Hi dear Risa, I am from Armenia and English is foreign language for me, so for improvement my English , I use your videos, thanks for super interesting and useful videos.
Hi Risa! Can you please do a “what’s in my gym toiletry bag” I’d love to know your suggestions on body and face for a pre work gym session! Thanks for your videos!
I have the Rodial drops and agree 100% but mine came in a Boxycharm box and I had no idea how much they cost. I just received one of my boxes yesterday and there were $284 worth of products in the box. I also fet Elemis in my Boxycharm boxes
Fun video. I also used the Armani foundation for years, and never found one as good, until I tried the Lisa Eldridge foundation, which for me is perfect in every way. And what makes it better is it is cruelty free, which he Armani is not.
Great video Risa. So glad I discovered you. I'm in my 50's with the same skin type. I am planning on trying the Armani lipstick. Really enjoying your videos. Thank you!
I just love the honesty in this video! Its not a “ I’m obsessed or I love it” Video It’s details on why it’s so loved and true enthusiasm about the product RisaRocks
Love your back ground. That lamp is so Cute! OMG!! That's why you looked familiar to me when I discovered you. I'd been in that Armarni Boutique you mentioned on one of our trips to Vegas back in the day.
I'd have to hit the lottery for me to routinely repurchase the ellimis cleansing balm. But I agree nothing I've tried emulsifies quite like that one. Lol
I try to save my Ulta points so when I get a good amount saved..it makes it somewhat affordable and I have tried SO many brands of skincare and I have to say Elemis is worth the investment💯
@Gigi I agree with you! It’s so expensive but the Elemis cleansing balm is SO AMAZING!! I enjoy a lot of their products but the cleansing balm is my favorite. I’m starting to run low on my balm. I’m trying so hard to use smaller amounts. When I first purchased it I was using too much lol
Thank you for sharing. I may invest in my foundation again, my last one fell and broke all over in my bathroom. 😥. Would love to try the concealer and powder. ❤️
Hi Risa! Your videos are a real joy to watch! I will admit that I have never tried the Rodial blush, but one thing I really love doing is mixing a neutral liquid highliter with a drugstore liquid blush. The liquid highlighter I use is Neutrogena Glow On in Supernova, but unfortunately, it has been discontinued. You could also use the Beautie Pie Triple Beauty Luminizing Wand or Flower Beauty's Spotlight Liquid Highlighter. For the liquid blush, I love the Milani Cheek Kiss in 140, Rose Romance or the L.A. Girl Soft Matte Cream Blush in Rosebud. Give it a try! I bet you will really like the results!
If have been using the Elemis cleansers for several years and love them!!! The papaya enzyme mask is also fabulous! I have sensitive skin and psoriasis but have had no problems with any sensitivity with Elemis …. And the light scent is so nice and clean. Non- drying …..great line of skincare!
For the Tom Ford eyeshadow duo, something I immediately thought of was the Euric Smoke Reflect Cream + Powder Eye Shadow Duo in Bronze Gold. I know it may be slightly different but it’s amazing and could be super similar 😀
Risa I purchased the By Terry Powder because of you and agree that it is an excellent setting powder. Love the color of the Rodial blush. Have always loved your recommendations Risa. You look beautiful as always🌺
Totally agree with all of your picks. I have backups of backups of the Elemis cleansing balm. and I'm obsessed with the Armani lipsticks. I have 10 now LOL
I have the elemis too. Have you tried juno clean 10? I absolutely can't stand the glow recipe papaya. I am not wasteful so I'm trying to power through it I just used it last night and it does not get everything off and leaves the worst film on your face I would never recommend it to anybody I don't understand how it's on the shelves still.
Yes. I totally agree with you about the Elemis pro-collagen cleansing balm. The scent is soooo relaxing. But most importantly it’s the watery silky and slippery texture that I cannot find in any other cleansing balms. And I have tried Korean and Japanese brands too. Yet nothing comes close to the Elemis one. I’m on my 4th jar now. I don’t use the flannel that comes with it. I buy disposable face towels, run hot water on it , wring it and have a mini face-steaming time with the therapeutic oils as you cleanse your makeup.
Hi Risa, what would you recommend as a concealer for someone with wrinkled under eyes...67years young and love makeup. Enjoy every video of yours. Thank you🥰
I love your channel. Always so informative, inviting and relaxing. But I, being 45, do also have “mature” skin. So my question to you is-- if You Tube was not your job- what would you purchase for your skincare- but mostly your makeup? Would it be more high end, budget, drug store? Curious. Keep doing what your doing lady!!
Have your tried Kiko eyeshadows? They have such a large selection of colors and formulas and you might find a dupe for the Tom Ford, even if you have to mix two colors to get the perfect match. I’m in love with the Wings shade in the Anastasia Noveau palette, though I didn’t care for the rest of the tones. Kiko had two very similar eyeshadows, one slightly darker and the other slightly lighter, and the mix is spot on. I also found an eye pencil on the darker tone which is perfect for framing (and to top it all, I had a discount). Love, Sol
The L’Oréal infallible 24 Fresh wear is literally identical to luminous silk. One of the worst foundation purchases I’ve ever made, as I wore them both on each side of my face for two days for 12 hours and they both performed identically. I actually preferred the L’Oréal side because it didn’t break me out.
I have LOVED the Armani, however, I am looking for an everyday foundation, which would you recommend? I save Armani for special times. I have Loreal serum nude foundation, you are right, it does not give enough coverage! I love by Terri hilighting pen, I will try the powder, because I am always on the lookout for one that does NOT dry!
I absolutely love the By Terry loose powder there’s no one like it it is amazing is my #1 favorite powder and it last a very long time I have very sweaty type of skin maybe I’m oily but I have a hard time absorbing moisturizer so when I try to set my make up with other powders my son is always wet and this powder do not dry out my skin or brakes down I will have to try the press powder thank you so much for the tip I had no idea !
Hi Risa, first of all - I adore your videos so much, thank you! Regarding the Armani Luminous Skin; have you tried the new Armani Power Fabric+ foundation? I tried it as soon as it launched in April - and immediately decluttered my Luminous Skin Foundations (had them i several shades) as I think this new Power Fabric+ is soooo much better, both in coverage, but also in longevity! I found that Luminous Skin could possibly last OK for 4-5 hours on my 54 years old combo/oily skin - but this new foundation lasted for a full day (for me, that is 10-12 hours from I put my makeup on at 7Am until I get home from work and is done with cooking , driving kids around and doing household work at 8-9 PM) I wonder if you have tried it and how you find it compares to your holy grail Luminous Skin?
Thanks for the sharing!! I got a new facial gadget GLOW from #touchbeauty. My skin's texture has improved dramatically. It's a great tool for upkeep- especially after a hot shower. 😁
Have u ever tried the cleansing from It cosmetics I use it an it does do a great job of getting all ur makeup an ur eye make-up off give it a try an have a great day
Great update of your top 7 products. I love the Armani foundation, the Dior concealer, and the by Terry powder. You have mentioned these over the years and I took your advice. Since I have retired, I don't feel the need to spend so much money on eye shadow, blushes, and cleansing cream. All the products you mentioned ARE the best! I agree, but I think I'd rather buy some shoes and handbags instead (lol)..... Thanks for your wonderful video and sorry to hear about your "empties" being gone. (Your new assistant saw some trash and did the expected thing... she's a keeper!) PS: Love your hair!
Risa, I love 💗 this video! Such a great idea. I’ll have to go watch Lisa’s video next! You have raved for so soooo long about the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation and I paused the video and finally purchased the smaller size! I’m excited to receive my notification from Sephora that my order is ready! The Elemis Cleansing Balm is by far the BEST most AMAZING product! I originally purchased it from you recommending it and thank you ☺️ it’s a great product! Now I’m very interested in the ByTerry powder and the lipstick
I'm not sure if these two products meet your dupe standards, but in my opinion they could be interchangeable if not stand in as a very close second: - For the Tom Ford eyeshadow duo in 'Naked Bronze', have you ever tried the Dior Mono Couleur in 'Mitzah'? (I haven't stopped wearing it since I discovered it - the sheen, the colour, the light it brings to your eyes is indescribably beautiful. I'm hooked.) - For the Elemis Balm Cleanser, I have discovered 'And Then I Met You', a previously unknown brand to me that makes an impressive set of products that are not only very effective for a dual cleanse routine, but I have preferred it many times this summer over the Elemis balm for removing all that sweaty makeup and sunblock and grime that are inevitable with a heat wave, resulting with a very satisfying clean and balanced skin without any stripping. I highly reccoment the 'Living Cleansing Balm' and the 'Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel' combo, in fact when I brought a travel size of both the Elemis balm and the Living Cleansing Balm with me on trips this summer, I surprisingly mostly chose the Living Cleansing Balm.
FYI Rodial Blush drops can be purchased on eBay for $20 shipped for anyone interested ♡ Now is the time to grab them because they won't be on there for that price for that long I don't think.
Risa, have you tried the Farmacy cleaning balm? It’s the first balm I ever tried so I don’t have a lot to compare it to but it’s very nice. It completely cleans, smells fresh and is not drying. Just wanted to know how it stacks up to the Elemis. Enjoyed the video and agree with the 5 I’ve tried. Ive never bought the blush or cleanser but will keep them in mind when I run out. Actually , I don’t think I will ever run out of blushes-too many, I’m afraid.
I have never tried the Elemis, so I can’t compare, but the Banila Co cleansing balm is truly amazing. At least once a year, I can get it on sale at Ulta, for cheaper than Elf per ounce. If no one has tried it, you should. I just do the pink one…it works the same as the others and is cheaper.
Nope. For me, the banila co cleansing balm doesn’t come anywhere close to the Elemis one. Different textures. The banila one is very waxy. Like most cleanising balms whereas the Elemis one is like honey!
So it's better than Estee Lauder DW & the NARS radiant finish? DW is amazing but a little drying. NARS is new to me & I've only used it a few times so I'm still on the fence about it.
The MAC studio fix pressed powders are really good too but I'm not sure if they're that healthy for the skin? What do you think about the anti-aging foundation cream products of IT cosmetics??
Love this one!! I need to try the Dior concealer!! A lot of these have very innovative formulas so I’m not surprised you haven’t found comparable formulas. I will have to finally try the Armani lipstick after this video. I have been thinking about those for a while!!!!
Hi Risa, thanks for a great video. The GA foundation is my all time favourite. I don’t know if you’ve tried it yet, the one powder wonder from Beauty Pie is supposed to be amazing. Might be worth a go if you run out of the By Terry xx
The only foundation I found close for me to the Armani was the L’Oréal True Match Lumi Foundation. This L’Oréal foundation has been out for years and people forget about it. The rest of those items I may have to purchase since I don’t have them. 😃
I love Elemis face cleansers, I haven’t tried the balm but I use the procollogen face wash and the resurfacing one intermittently. Have been buying them for years, they may be expensive but they last a long long time as you don’t need much of it. I can’t spend £60 on the large facial wash and it will last me and my husband a year! One pump goes a very long way in my opinion, the ingredients are fabulous and your skin feels great after! I have a tiny balm to try from a special value set i ordered from qvc which I will get around to when I back to applying makeup more regularly. You just can’t beat Elemis in my opinion…. Love the other items too Risa, those lip colours look amazing, the foundation always looks fabulous on your skin and the by terry powder is great. I’m not a powder girl but tried it once I concealed my under eyes and it’s worked the way you said it did. I was lucky enough to get a travel size loose one in my look fantastic beauty box a few months ago and if I ever get through it I’m sure I’ll re purchase! .. you look radiant as always and I love your torpor is it a dress?
Your 49 😳 thought you were about 35/36. You've definitely got me hooked on your channel for that reason. What ever you are doing to that fabulous skin if yours, keep it up 👍 stunning 😁
Hi Risa! Love the video, and will try the Armani Luminous Silk in autumn. But speaking of cleansing balms, have you tried the Algenist? For my dry to normal skin I think it is a tiny bit better, but I have a new jar of Elemis, so I will compare them. Never liked cleansing balms but got the Elemis (small size) in an advent calendar, tried it and change my mind.
Can the Armani sheer down for very light,, basically just even out tones? I've been curious to try,, but truly only like tinted typed coverage...even for events...guess I can just go to counter and have them try it on me😎
Risa, I, too think it’s a great video idea and thanks for your take on this. I have a question: How does the Armani luminous silk foundation compare to the new Hourglass one? I am considering buying the Hourglass but wonder if Luminous Silk might be abetter choice?
It might come down to ingredients for you, and your skin type. The Georgio Armani contains denatured alcohol, which can be very drying for the skin, whereas the Houglass does not. Hope that helps.
Hi 👋🏼 Risa, I think I’ve been using the Elemis cleansing balm for almost 10 years. I haven’t found anything better yet. And all though it’s expensive I feel that it lasts a long long time. I use just a little every time. And as a bonus you can use the Elemis as a face mask 🤩 so it’s a two in one product 😘
I have extremely oily skin at 69 years old and no matter what kind of foundation I use it will stay on for an hour. I know you have oily as well. What is the best oil controlling primer you would recommend ?
I bought the Elemis after a video you posted , I love it so much I bought a second one and also a moisturizer thank you for the honest reviews and as always you look stunning 👍
Great video, Risa. I haven't tried the Rodial (it looks gorge) but it sounds similar to Daniel Sandler's liquid blush in Rose Glow - though the Rodial looks a little more pink - the glow the DS gives is so pretty - and you can mix it with less glowy liquid blushes too and make your own formula. I have not found a true dupe for Armani LS either, but am actually thankful I can not wear it all that often as the alcohol denat dries my skin - but for weddings, special occasions, etc - it's almost a guarantee good skin day when I have it on. I have been EYING those lippies- I tend to literally buy every lipstick you love b/c I've yet to be disappointed, but now trying to determine which one.. my first choice is sold on on Sephora so maybe I'll wait for it to come back n stock. LOVE your romper. xox
You did at one point recommend the e.l.f. cleansing balm for those of us who can't afford the Elemis and I love it. FYI you're always pretty and your hair looks great today! Love the side part ❤️ Thanks as always!!
Love your hair like this Risa ❤
Very true! ❤️
Great video, Risa, and you look amazing!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Love to learn from you always, thanks so much, and have a wonderful day!!!!😘😘😘😘
Elemis is having a 25% off sale, I finally got the cleansing balm! As always, love your videos Risa! Your recommendations are always spot on! Thank you for being authentic and honest!
Hi dear Risa, I am from Armenia and English is foreign language for me, so for improvement my English , I use your videos, thanks for super interesting and useful videos.
I always trust your recommendations! ✨️
Sometimes the quote,"you get what you pay for" is the truth. I have the rodial blush drops and you're right about the glow! I like them !
I really appreciate your criteria for dupes!
Good evening Risa thank you for sharing unbelievable products 🌺🌸🌼
You’re so “real” I always enjoy your videos and your opinions ! Take care sweet lady, just love you !😘
Fun video. I also used the Armani foundation for years, and never found one as good, until I tried the Lisa Eldridge foundation, which for me is perfect in every way. And what makes it better is it is cruelty free, which he Armani is not.
I bought today Tom Ford eyeshadow you were right absolutely class like no other !
Great video Risa. So glad I discovered you. I'm in my 50's with the same skin type. I am planning on trying the Armani lipstick. Really enjoying your videos. Thank you!
I look forward to your videos! I am 68 years old, and I feel like you are the best of the best. I appreciate you!!
I just love the honesty in this video!
Its not a “ I’m obsessed or I love it” Video
It’s details on why it’s so loved and true enthusiasm about the product

I have the Auric Smoke Reflect in the shade Defiance and I suspect it's very similar to the Tom Ford duo.
You look beautiful. Great products thanks for sharing this video. Its helpful
Love your back ground. That lamp is so Cute! OMG!! That's why you looked familiar to me when I discovered you. I'd been in that Armarni Boutique you mentioned on one of our trips to Vegas back in the day.
Oh really? How cool! I was there from 2005 to early 2007.
I'd have to hit the lottery for me to routinely repurchase the ellimis cleansing balm. But I agree nothing I've tried emulsifies quite like that one. Lol
Agree! I love the Elemis but it has to be a every now and then treat when found on sale
Risa, your lashes are more full than usual and you look stunning with it!! Do you mind sharing what they are?
I love the Elemis cleansing balm and also the Clinique Take The Day Off cleansing balm. That eyeshadow duo looks very pretty.
I love the Take the Day Off from Clinique too.
By Terry compact powder is the best. I’m on my second and also bought one for my sister in the mini ( easier to put in your purse).
Hi Risa!
Thanks for the great video(s)! Wondering what shade you use in the Dior concealer?
Hi Risa! Your videos are a real joy to watch! Totally agree with all of your picks. I have backups of backups of the Elemis cleansing balm. and I'm obsessed with the Armani lipsticks. I have 10 now LOL
Looking stunning as always - love the dupes and can’t be duped products videos! Love from Belgium, Europe!
I agree with you regarding the Elemis cleansing balm. I first fell in love with cleansing balms from Farmacy green clean. But nothing tops Elemis!
Risa, you do look gorgeous. Thank you for a great video xx
I got the Rodial Blush Drops in that exact color a few months ago with my BoxyCharm subscription and it is absolutely stunning!!!
I appreciate your reviews and honesty! The foundation is great though. I bought it for myself as a birthday gift!
Thank you Risa,i like youre opinion.Realy hear a lot of good things about elemis.Hope to try it soon.
One of the cleansing balms I also like is by Beauty Counter. No fragrance in the BC balm and can be used as a nighttime sleep mask.
I have the by Terry, Rodial Blush.
I have the elemis too. Have you tried juno clean 10? I absolutely can't stand the glow recipe papaya. Can you tell me what shade you use in the Armani foundation?
Hi, always such great advice. Thanks for sharing 👍 I've heard about the concealer.
I have the Dior concealer in my basket at Sephora as we are having a sale, I am definitely purchasing now.
Very happy to learn about the Dior concealer as I’m now in the market for a new one, I’m also eyeing the By Terry powder! Thanks Risa ♥️
Have your tried Kiko eyeshadows? They have such a large selection of colors and formulas and you might find a dupe for the Tom Ford, even if you have to mix two colors to get the perfect match. Such a great video! Love it! Thank you for this.❤️❤️❤️
We love the way you describing the products from each category!
I love the Georgio Armani foundation!
The L’Oréal infallible 24 Fresh wear is literally identical to luminous silk. One of the worst foundation purchases I’ve ever made, as I wore them both on each side of my face for two days for 12 hours and they both performed identically. I love love the rodial blush drops in the pink shade I got it off boxycharm and I stocked up on it when they had mega drop shop ❤️
Also if you go on boxycharm right now the rodial blush drops in frosted pink they are only 8 dollars in the mega drop shop ☺️
There’s a cream shadow from Sydney Grace called campfire and it’s an exact color dupe for the Tom Ford you showed. 😊
Ooh! Thank you!
Thanks for the sharing!! I got a new facial gadget GLOW from #touchbeauty. My skin's texture has improved dramatically. It's a great tool for upkeep- especially after a hot shower. 😁
Those Sydney Grace eyeshadows in the tube are amazing. I have “The Scoop” and “Boardwalk.” Gorgeous and last forever on the eye!
@@RisaDoesMakeup says it’s being discontinued, so get it quickly! Please do a video quick and let us know of it’s a true DUPE! Thanks
I've been using meaningful beauty. I love it
One of my fave foundations and concealers!
Have u ever tried the cleansing from It cosmetics I use it an it does do a great job of getting all ur makeup an ur eye make-up off give it a try an have a great day

The Elemis Cleansing Balm is by far the BEST most AMAZING product! I originally purchased it from you recommending it and thank you ☺️ it’s a great product!
Now I’m very interested in the ByTerry powder and the lipstick
Try the smashbox 24 hour foundation! I’m telling you nothing lasts as long!
I'm not sure if these two products meet your dupe standards, but in my opinion they could be interchangeable if not stand in as a very close second:

Getting my notebook ready to make a list of products to get!
Luv the Armani Love the Armani lip power lipsticks! They’re not slippy (like the Dior). I have #108 . Will have to buy another for Fall!
Hi Risa! Always beautiful and graceful ⚘️
Thank you so much for sharing Risa, I’ll have to try some of these out. Xo
FYI Rodial Blush drops can be purchased on eBay for $20 shipped for anyone interested ♡ Now is the time to grab them because they won't be on there for that price for that long I don't think.
Elemis naked is the best! Just finished one, I have two back ups! They go on sale often.
What's your shade in the luminous silk? Also if u HAD to choose any of the "dupes".....which one would u say comes the closest???
I use Dior concealer too, and it is great indeed , i agree with you , thank you, Risa ❤
Hi Risa I have never tried the Rodial product however, have you tried the ByTerry Glow -Expert Duo Stick in #2 Terra Rosa?
I have never tried the Elemis, so I can’t compare, but the Banila Co cleansing balm is truly amazing. At least once a year, I can get it on sale at Ulta, for cheaper than Elf per ounce. If no one has tried it, you should. I just do the pink one…it works the same as the others and is cheaper.
Nope. For me, the banila co cleansing balm doesn’t come anywhere close to the Elemis one. Different textures. The banila one is very waxy. Like most cleanising balms whereas the Elemis one is like honey!
@@jeanineyeoh8989 gotcha. Well, like I said…I haven’t tried Elemis so I know I can’t compare.
@@sarahs7058 oh, sorry I overlooked the part where you said you haven’t tried Elemis. ☺️
The Armani foundation is amazing. Try the mini, Ladies! (I have normal skin that gets dry on the forehead occasionally.) It is on it's own level, IMO.
Thank you Risa! What shade are you in Armani? Would love to try it!!! Xx 💕🥰
I wear 5.75 in Armani.
I think the Algenist is a totally overlooked brand. I like several of their products. Especially their Sublime Defense spf.
@@shariwalliker9371 I'll keep that in mind for next summer. Thanks!
Painted by Spencer likes that elemis collagen face moisturizer. I need to try them both!
@@daynad8104 Thanks, yes, it helps
Any suggestions for a dupe for pat mcgrath sublime skin fettish setting powder ??
Maybe not a dupe for Elemis, but the Korean beauty Heimish All Clean Balm is stunning. X
the tom ford one..maybe try lemonhead LA brand...i saw beyonce using that brand so...anyway love the video!!
In regards to the Tom Ford Duo, have you tried the Auric duo's?? I haven't, just curious how they compare. Thanks 💋
Hi 👋🏼 Risa, I think I’ve been using the Elemis cleansing balm for almost 10 years. I haven’t found anything better yet. And all though it’s expensive I feel that it lasts a long long time. I use just a little every time. And as a bonus you can use the Elemis as a face mask 🤩 so it’s a two in one product 😘
thanks for vid pretty lady, be safe
I have extremely oily skin at 69 years old and no matter what kind of foundation I use it will stay on for an hour. I know you have oily as well. What is the best oil controlling primer you would recommend ?
like the lipstick colors ,you look so beauthiful ,like a movie star
I bought the Elemis after a video you posted , I love it so much I bought a second one and also a moisturizer thank you for the honest reviews and as always you look stunning 👍
Love you Risa. As always you give the best advice!
