      yes, polygel and gel products always need to be cured.

    At minute 8:59 you said "you still wanna have a "apex" what does that mean? I've heard more than one poly gel nail tech use that term before. And I'm unsure of its meaning.

      hiii! so the apex is basically the highest point of the nail. usually you want your apex/highest point to be where the nail tip meets the free edge of your natural nail, so think of where the white part of your natural nail is. this is so if you bump your nail extension on something, there is added strength at the point of the nail where it would be easiest to break. the apex is basically just the high peak of your extension, so when you turn your nail to the side, its not flat.
