This was written...for Ben Adams...and he picked Morissette to collab with it. They also do a collab on a song called , Like A Rose....with all members of the group A1 , that Ben was lead vocalist in.
Ben Adams is the lead singer of the British boy band A-1. He wrote this song and was originally going to be a duet with a female Dutch artist, Until he discovered Morissette. He was so blown away with her voice and contacted Morissette to ask her to collaborate this original track with her. She accepted and she quickly became his favorite female solo artist in the world.
If you were into boy bands in the 2000’s you would remember the band A1. They were a British-Norwegian boy band if I’m not mistaken. Ben was on of Them. Steven mentioned it in the comments, you should have a look at Morissette singing “O Holy Night” at favor church, it’s a must see.
Song was for the season. Probably smart of Ben getting her as far as upping his career. Not the best Christmas song I've heard but it was more interesting to watch rather than just hearing it.
