I love Stefan's videos as a professional developer. I want to add a bit to it. Spend 10.000 hours of work in coding to be a master of all. The early you finish the early you become. Learn Data Structure and algorithms will change the way you code and the way you think as a developer. Technology and framework will change these are things that will always stay. Don't change programming each time in the beginning. start one after getting professional in it, is easy to move to another programming language. The time I started coding I changed it often it made my path very long. No matter any language is amazing. C++ father of languages, Python, and JS easy of all. JS you can do anything. Python best in machine learning, backend, desktop web. C# Dotnet frameworks almost everywhere these days. Java, over 11.5 million devices run on Java. So basically all good just start one and understand. Be patient it will take time. No one is the best developer but you will be better each day I promise. Just start it people and follow this guy... Type of work you want to do and your taste
learning something new often helps you understand another stuff.
E,g. python helps me understand php a lot / laravel makes much more sense to me after i learnt vue.js.
i know it may sounds weird, but if you want to learn something fast, other than playing with it a lot, learning something new (but similar to it) perhaps also is a good choice.
A friend just entered into the projects part of your foundations course, and has bought your freelancer course. He's pretty excited. I'd hire him except he wants to work for himself. Don't blame him. I'll have to give him a heads up on this video, though I imagine he's already seen it! Cheers!
Millions of Respect to Stefan. You Rock!. I've started PHP and improving my skills on it on daily basis. Keep Vlogging!
14:00 after you learn music you can learn to play the 10 songs for practice. The formula should always follow an order first learn the foundation and then master it through practice.
9:26
LOL. I thought it started at 0:01 ...?
Has anybody taken his Freelance course or Entrepreneur course?
If so, how was it?
I'm takin his full stack web development course and so far it's a bit on the easy side, but I'm just starting with basics so I hope it gets harder.
@@Jester2b04 I am right there with you. I am taking his full stack and almost done with the JavaScript section and moving on to the PHP 7.
Wow, I haven't heard the term 'nurbs' in nearly 20 years! Thanks for the trip back in time :)
I like your stories and analogies, you have a teaching spirit!
I appreciate that!
I would recommend if anyone is just starting to program should first take CS50. Is one of the best courses to give a primary understanding of what is computer science.
I agree, but be prepared to suffer :) CS50 is quite demanding, especially if you have no prior experience. I am currently working on the final
project for the web-path (finance) - especially the lectures on C (and the PSET's) are great. You will learn alot if you make it through.
Good luck! btw: the CS50 community is great (discord, reddit etc.)
You are the #1 so far in all my research as a new student to be able to explain and describe what new students come across. Excellent guidance and great inputs. I subscribed, like all your videos and will be a big follower. Thank you very much.
Which 3D package in 2022, Houdini. Its procedural, node based, has amazing VFX built in, you can move points around by writing Python code. Can create procedural game assets. Just has the steepest learning curve of them all. Nurbs is B-surface modelling used in 3D CAD packages such as Fusion360. You can create meshes by simple exporting as .fbx or .obj, I do this now and retopo if I need quads in Maya/Blender or 3ds Max. Nurbs are good for hard surface assets. For organic assets where your deforming the mesh to animate , you mesh out of Fusion360 its full of triangles which are terrible when animating, so you have to retopo.
Love the Martial arts analogy! These videos convey so much other than official classes!
Nice Stefan I can relate to you especially in Martial Arts!!! BJJ is the best
About your MMA analogy: BJJ is a must in MMA also western boxing, some Maui Tai, some wrestling, some kickboxing, and that's about it for the general repertoire most fighters have. Some fighters specialize in different MMA's, so it's kinda complex but the general MMA's are musts. This guy has the exact same hobbies as I do lol. Guitars, MMA, and programming does anyone know if he has a CS degree? if not what does he have?
Thank you for your professional insight into the real world path of learn dev. You put things into perspective, and give clarity on how to learn effectively.
Just finished the html5 course! started css3
long journey start! good luck
html and css are not programming languages
@@boxingexpert9065 who said it was
i would love it if your add your podcast to google play music, spotify, or soundcloud
I recommend learning visual basic.net. Even if you never plan on using it. It's an easy language to learn, but it teaches you enough about programming fundamentals to be extremely useful for noobs(like me) who can't afford the time or money for college. After learning vb.net for the last 4 weeks, I've found that I understand so so much more than ever before, no matter what language is being discussed.
Good to have an experienced mentor in learning process
Google podcast and castbox, your podcast is not up on those platforms
Obviously da best 3D animation software is blender. For me that is
C4D all the way :)
Also Lightwave is amazing (even though different approach)
i look forward to the podcast! any chance you could upload to spotify too?
in 1.5 speed its perfect to watch ;)
Guy Drunk u drunk guy?
hahaha sounds like he's had too many cups of coffee :P
1.25 perfect :)
1.25 perfect :)
noo too slow x2 speed.
Awesome video. Boxing is my sport :)
Nice comparison, true in many aspects of life ;D
I would say you are 100 percent true stef, it's all about grasping the basics and your fundemental courses are great, i have finnished them, and did some of your projects as well, i have to say your courses are really well done at the beginning of this year i was struggling making layouts with css after your courses am in a whole new level , right now i put 4 days a week learning laravel and 3 days exploring wordpress development, should i put the time to learn them both or focusing on one since am going for global platforms for freelancing
Ali Younis focus at one. Then learn the other. Thats the way i've done it and that's the way every successful programmer has done it. It's better, trust me!
following your advice Devasted, you are totally true, thanks
There is a podcast version of this available here: www.killersites.com/blog/2018/need2nerd-3-the-fast-way-to-professional-developer/
I'm sorry but Stefan is the fucken Man !

That was helpful thank you
No problem!

It's live too: www.killersites.com/blog/category/need2nerd/
Hi Stefan, you inspire me, great advice. I started learning the basics of Html and Css then got very busy moving. I am about to resume my learning. After researching I have found that I can get my foot in the door by becoming competent in responsive web design. I have found some Udemy and UA-cam tutorials that show how to build complete responsive websites from scratch. I am guessing that going carefully through some of those tutorials completely then I would become competent enough to start looking for junior web design/developer jobs because I would have 3 or 4 projects in my portfolio and would have become fluid enough in my programming. I would appreciate your guidance.
Very nice video! Thanks
Great video! Can you add that the frameworks as you mentioned in this video into your course!?
great video!
Great video I am one of those people that dont know what to learn. so i decided to learn Swift and Xcode because i want to create IOS apps cause thats whats is in demand right now but in a long term do u think it will be usefull or it will die as soon as the iphone life cycle ends?
If you learn Swift and IF one day the demand for Swift programmers makes it hard to find a job; it will be easy for you to learn a new language in a short time. Once you are a programmer, you are a programmer. Languages are just tools.
Stefan Mischook Thanks for the reply ❤️❤️
Nice video again!!
I WANT MORE CAR VLOGS . LOVE THEM
Where do I find the pod casts at?
great video
I cannot get to the link of your python course. It's not going through

Typescript is the best
can i build website using c#?
Analysis paralysis
man for martial its BJJ...no question about it :)
Hey Stefan, what car is that?
Audi S5 cab
Nice!
How much cost the foundation courses?
Hi! I offer them now for $35 USD. shop.killervideostore.com/
This, that and the other thing...👍
Best one
guys. i think this man is all mouth. we havent seen any of his works. he just talks about developing. i dont know. im a bit skeptical.
Weirdly accurate observations and valueable recommendations from someone who's not a developer if you ask me. Don't see why to be skeptical.
Also: what about his courses on Python (and other things)?
Weird question, but do you have a video ABOUT your car? If not.... well... there's another video idea for ya 😁
Too many ads : /

Whats with the coffeeeeee?????????
1:03 An oldman crosses the street diagonally, checking out a suspicious guy talking to himself in a car.
The oldman reports to local police what he saw.
16:49 A police car slowly drives by, IDing the plate# on Audi.
Never tell people to learn php
This guy references programming to driving a car lmao dumbest thing I've heard...
Great video!
