I've been looking for a person of color (like myself) to try this out on UA-cam. I wanted to see how the product looked on someone close to my skin tone. Thanks for the tutorial for this product I just bought! ☺
First, you're stunning. Second, if you're still using this product, they have new shades. Shade "Deep Dark" has a slightly deeper and warmer toned highlight that might suit you very well. There's also "Deep Rich" with a cooler toned contour, which I prefer, but I got the impression you were going for a subtle cream bronzer rather than straight up definition so you might not like that shade. Great video!
Loved the video! Simple and straight to the point! :) Two questions, did you put foundation on first then put the contour on after? Also when you used the beauty blender did you have it wet or did you use it dry to blend? Thank you! :)
Great tutorial. I'm new to contouring and I think this stick is a great way to learn so thanks so much for showing how to apply it. And it's great that I own the ELF contouring and blush set.
Do you always have to set each layer with a powder? I'm buying my starter kit and it doesn't seem like the biggest priority. Can I live without the powder or do I gave to get it
nice video! I've been waiting and waiting for them to get this product in 'Dark' back in so I can get one for myself, and after seeing you apply this, I want it even more!! thanks for sharing your beauty reviews with us!
lucky you! we don't have Ulta up here in Canada and they don't deliver here either... oh well, it will make it that much sweeter when I finally get my hands on one of my very own! ;)
I use powder foundation so someone told me I should use a powder contour but I thought this would work. Did you conceal and use powder foundation before contouring?
Great video! i found you through the new youtuber tag! i just wanted to say you're starting at a good place! i hope to see more interesting and fab videos from you xoxo - MileyCarterr
love your channel I am totally gonna do this for myself were close to the same complexion so i can try and make it look like i dont wear makeup lol. great channel

I don't set everything with a powder like I never set my foundation at all.
Great video. I questioned buying this product. But this video gave me some insight. Thanks
yeah, what shade you using? universal, etc.. what?
nice video! I've been waiting and waiting for them to get this product in 'Dark' back in so I can get one for myself, and after seeing you apply this, I want it even more!! thanks for sharing your beauty reviews with us!
+Monica Ghosh I got it from Ulta and grabbed the last one so there are people out there buying them all up. Thanks for watching!

I use powder foundation so someone told me I should use a powder contour but I thought this would work. Did you conceal and use powder foundation before contouring?
+Amber Williams I used a liquid foundation. When I use a powder foundation I usually conceal first the go over it with the powder. Hope that help!
hi! is your elf blush and bronzer shade really the saint lucia shade? online that palette looks like it could be the fiji shade o:
I'm an nc42 in mac foundation do you think I should get the dark wonder stick or will the highlight be the same colour? Thanks 😀
+Jasmin Whitford I have a mac prolong wear concealer in NC45 thats my color if that helps with a color reference

I got the shade neutral because I was thinking that deep would be too deep but the contour is basically a foundation for me :((
Awesome! I'm heading to ulta this week!
Nice im using medium and im white/bronze im afraid its too light

nice! what shade are you using?
+Zana Turner I got the shade deep which is the darkest shade it comes in.
Is there any flashback?
Does it you a grey effect when you build up ?
+TheCoreyMarie It doesn't show grey to me when I apply it. Even after I applied more when I thought it was a bit too light.
