- With the massive success that was cryptozoo, I realized that if I wanted to actually make money as a game dev I shouldn't be making a game I love and can be proud of. I should instead be making an NFT scam... I mean game.
Happy April fools everyone! Yes it might be mid April now but it's never too late to make fun of NFT games. This is definitely the dumbest video I have ever made. I just wanted to comment on all the terrible trends I am seeing with game dev. Hopefully someone out there finds this funny.

James Jani did an excellent video discussing the seemingly endless insanity surrounding crypto, NFTs and Web 3 in a very digestible format.
Folding Ideas's video "Line Goes Up" goes a lot more in depth.
Coffeezilla has a three part series on Jake Paul's scam specifically, and also does videos on other financial con jobs.
You would think by now that we don't need further reminders of how toxic anything strapped to the side of a blockchain is, but as many terrible people know, there's a sucker born every minute and fools are easily separated from their money.
I really do miss the PS1 and 2 era, where games that you played at home didn't charge more than once and you got the whole experience in one package. Sure, those games are still around, and _some_ new titles follow the same model, but there's a LOT of shovelware that you have to dig through to find them on your own.
how could you hype us up with such an epic sounding game just to be like ha nah it don't exist

I really believe a moblie game that isn't pay to win, fair play, isnt riddled with ads every second you play. Is well optimized to the user experience, With subtle ways to support a game dev. And of course isn't a scam. Would bring in millions of players and maybe the elusive 5 star rating. This type of style of producing a moblie game doesn't exist.. yet*
