People often say that Felix must be living his first life because he's so open and warm and approaches life with such joy, but this old soul is in there too. I appreciate the song from a technical standpoint - composition and lyrics and harmonies and mixing - but I also appreciate the emotions Felix shares. The song is a gift.
Friend from the very first note I knew I fucked up 😂❤ took my breath away. His voice does not match his young outer appearance. He was singing like a soul singer from the 80’s❤ the harmonies were very well placed along with the stacks. Definitely provided a wider feel of the song, in addition to the emotions. He really hit it home ❤

A masterpiece😭😭🩵 I love Deep End so much since its release. It's everything I wanted from a Felix solo song, he showed very well his vocal range, most people always think that there's 2-3 people singing the song hahaha, his voice is really amazing. And also his lyrics on point as well.
Felix didn't sing for his audition to become a trainee for JYP, just did a freestyle dance. He was placed in "Danceracha" with Lee Know and Hyunjin, and that could've been it. Great dancer with the occasional deep-voice hooks in Skz discography. Now idk why/who was responsible for him being so much more.. maybe the fact that 3Racha (Channie, Changbin, Han- producing unit & pre-debut rap group that Skz was built around) are not insecure, power-hungry dudes and seem to have encouraged the other members to do everything they want to do- even creating beats/helping them write lyrics for solo songs. Anyway Felix worked with his voice on his own time, faced his fears of his unique sound not being good enough, and now he sings and raps in so many Skz songs, even helping with the writing of songs in their 5-Star album released in June 2023. It's amazing to see how far he's come and i can't wait to see how far he will go 💙😌
This song just hits everytime. The first time i heard it i was sobbing in my car at 6am before work. His range is so stunning! Those harmonies and the emotions he displayed are just so so good. This is legit one of my fav songs ever from any artist.
I was a full-blown STAY when this came out and even I was like "wait, who's singing with Felix?" His range blew me away, and the soul behind it. Those lyrics are so sad, and were so shocking from our "Sunshine"

I’m so glad you got to see this side of Felix. When I first heard “Deep End” at the beginning of my Stray Kids journey I could’ve sworn he had other people singing with him but then I realized no he just has that kind of range! I absolutely love his head voice tone and whenever he gets to use it I get so happy because it’s so beautiful. The lyrics are also absolutely devastating in the best way and I feel them so deeply every time I hear this song. So glad you enjoyed it!
