Im just so torn between so many horses that im very passionate abt n that i want and im not sure what to buy so i just haven't bought anything. So now i have saved 1152sc with my weekly star coins just because im indecisive 😂 Which im proud of because i had bought 10000sc and i spent it all in a day so when i say im bad at saving thats what i mean... i even tried to save half but that night i couldnt resist soooo thats a big problem for me. Thats why i feel so rich rn!
Previously i had 900 SC that i was saving and then there was black friday horse sale so i was like why not buy arabian and icelandic which i wished for so long and i can buy them both, that was really helpful that they were discounted, now i have 200SC already, saving for new items maybe. Also what i found really helpful as maxed lifetime star rider is that if you have time, you can do daily quests for reputation, those give 70JS , which is nice too and you can buy clothes with JS after a while. Im really glad you made this video Pixel! Thank you for sharing this!
My personal methods to save star coins: - Only buy Star Coins during Double SC Weekend - No stable care. I have a few horses that I keep in top condition: My starter horse, My pony and Morgan for Championships, an Icelandic for the race in New Hillcrest, my horse that I am currently training and the horse that I plan to train after that. For lazy people, if you buy stable care for one day it counts for two days. So just buying it every other day is enough to keep all horses in top shape. - I hate to have more than 5 horses in my stables that aren't maxed out. I bought a lot of horses during the Black Friday discount, and it drives me crazy that I still have 15 untrained horses in the stable. - I plan to buy every single horse in the game eventually so I always limit myself to buy the horses that are on discount and the older ones. Never buy the new and expensive ones (unless they are limited to an Event), they will get a discount at some point in the future. - I use the method of naming all the horses across one breed the same in the second half. My Jorvik warmbloods are xxx-dancers, my Friesians are princes, princesses and queens (depending on the generation), my Andalusians are lords and ladies, my English Thoroughbreds are knights etc. Helps me to keep a nice overview of my Horses and when I buy new ones I only need to think about half a name at a time. Renaming them is out of the question, unless I find that some names collide with old horses that I bought before I implemented this system.. - No pets unless I reeeaaallly, reeeeaaaalllly like them - I bought two large packs of SC during Black Friday, so I still have 11k waiting to be spent. Saving Jorvik Shillings to save Star Coins - I do a lot of Archaeology in Epona when I'm there on my training route or for a championship to get Jorvik Shillings. I keep the Items from the Archaeology directly and only trade them when I need Shillings to save space in the inventory of my home stable. - I also use the Mailbox trick with championships. I think there's more than 300k JS in my Mailbox right now. I wish there was some way to have a bank account in SSO, to keep track of JS.
I am completely on self control. When I’m passionate about a horse I save up. Sometimes I make sure a horse is at a certain level or maxed before I buy a new one! But uh maybe I have bought 6 horses on impulse…
The price of Lifetime Star Rider equals about a year of paying for monthly Star Rider. So if you feel like you'll play for a while, it's going to be cheaper that way. If you're younger now's the time to wish for Lifetime on Christmas
Yeah when I was thinking about getting Lifetime I decided to try star rider for a month and see if I liked it, so I did that and loved it. So I realised what you said about how it’s like paying monthly for a year and I asked myself whether I thought I’d be playing for the next year - the answer was yes so I bought lifetime. Haven’t regretted it, still playing 2 years later 😅
With that wishlist one, I have a notepad app thing on my phone and everytime I see a nice horse or item of clothing I write it down, and say it's a purple top, I check that it matches a saddle pad that I like as well so it won't just be sitting in my closet with nothing to do, I find it a really good idea so I will actually use it
I have other games to play instead of Star Stable, however, I go through periods of time where only one game tickles me fancy and as of right now that is in fact Star Stable, but I'm level 23 with fully maxed out horses and no star coins so there's basically nothing to do. What I've been doing to spend time away from my main account so I can save up some sc is I've made a brand new account on an entirely different region's server to give me something somewhat new (playing with people from the opposite side of the world). I've made so much more progress on this alt than I have on any other alt I own even though I'm currently only using a free star rider code.
My tips are Budget- Like for me yes I have a lot of sc but I dont use it all as I like magic horses so I want to keep some for when they turn up with pets so when I brought 10k I left myself a budget of 5k sc so I would have 5k left so if a new horse came out and I really wanted it then I had the sc for it later on my budget grew so much so I dont go under 15k SC now but thats me Second one is more for if you cant buy sc kinda thing but back when I started I couldnt buy sc so I use to slowly train my one horse I had before I had enough sc to buy the next horse I wanted and I kept that up unless limited horses came then I would break that rule for limited horses but I think I kept that rule up for a good year I guess it still kinda stands but training is boring now lol Third one is make sure you have a wishlist my poor google doc I have has like 60ish pages of horses I want to get and I add any new horses in and plan names out so when I have the sc I dont sit there trying to think on a name for the horse then kinda go oh maybe I should get another one and so on as that has happened lol Fourth one is use JS for tack I have a wishlist of tack I want with prices and I work on building up my JS so I can buy that piece of tack with sc Last thing is Treat yourself for me I started it last year is buy a horse on my birthday a horse i have wanted for a good while or I have 3 and have a couple of friends choose what one I should get or if you know what date you joined star stable I know what date I joined and I have brought a horse not for my first or second year of having the game but for my third, fourth and fifth year and I always bring a friend along if they have star stable or on discord on screen share so I remember the moment and I have even brought a christmas horse the past two years so its up to you dont limit yourself so much that you end up spending them all straight away when you see you got enough save for something you really want and hell if you get enough but dont want that thing anymore thats ok find something else you like or keep saving
I love both more edited videos and more simplistic videos! More simple ones are nice to watch for some cozy/more personal vibes, and the more edited ones are fun to see and usually good to watch for a solid distraction, if that makes sense? You are constantly stimulated with more edited videos is what I mean. If I had to choose I'd actually say the simplistic talking to a camera ones are my favourites, but your editing is so much fun to watch and honestly I just love all of your content! Not sure how helpful this is XD but yeah!
I did the math for how many months it would take for you to pay off your star rider subscription. In 10 months, the lifetime star rider is paid off :) I personally got it in 2019, after aprox. 3 years of playing, so my lifetime has been paid off at least four times by now if I did the math right
I currently have about 9000 sc and that is from Oktober when I bought 10 000 ehen it was double sc. I don't have either the Tennessee Walker or the Belgian warmblood. I kinda want one but si don't want to use my sc xD I do know that I'm gonna get the magic Paso Fino that comes the 21st because I'm in love hehe
The most star coins I've saved was 850 for a Halloween horse and that's it, now I'm here spending all my star coins on Christmas sweaters and not able to buy Star coins... I am slowly getting into the habit of not even checking my star coins like they aren't there, I have no idea how it's just happening.
CASS!! I saw a video with SSOU and star stable is working on more inventory space! 😱thought you maybe wanted to know since you have a *ahem* situation...😂 love ya
I dont ever buy sc, I usually play the game for months and then I don’t play it for months and it saves up the sc since I’m lifetime. But I usually start getting crazy and buy so many horses and now I have spent it all again, soo my solution noow is to save sc and only buy horses with those sc and I buy tack with js, makes me work and do quests and train my horses and save up js for tack or clothing 😌 saved up 491 sc already
For everyone who is planning to buy lifetime: play the game for a year or so without starrider. If you enjoy this game even if there are only the events, train your starter horse and a few quests. If you still like this game even if there's nothing to do, you'll probably enjoy the starrider life as well. But if you get bored and leave the game, play when your friends are nearby. They'll make it funny, since it's just a childish horse-game xd.
The only pet I want is red fox but I don't have enough star coins... I have a wish list 😂 for horses and clothes just not horse gear. I'm saving for 5000 sc
wish I could use this but i'm broke lmao (idk if this made any sense at all bc the video is literally "how to save your star coins." Tell me you get what I mean)

I sometimes watch horse spoilers so i can choose at that point if i want the horse or i can buy antoher one

Yess I do that too

Budget- Like for me yes I have a lot of sc but I dont use it all as I like magic horses so I want to keep some for when they turn up with pets so when I brought 10k I left myself a budget of 5k sc so I would have 5k left so if a new horse came out and I really wanted it then I had the sc for it later on my budget grew so much so I dont go under 15k SC now but thats me
Second one is more for if you cant buy sc kinda thing but back when I started I couldnt buy sc so I use to slowly train my one horse I had before I had enough sc to buy the next horse I wanted and I kept that up unless limited horses came then I would break that rule for limited horses but I think I kept that rule up for a good year I guess it still kinda stands but training is boring now lol
Third one is make sure you have a wishlist my poor google doc I have has like 60ish pages of horses I want to get and I add any new horses in and plan names out so when I have the sc I dont sit there trying to think on a name for the horse then kinda go oh maybe I should get another one and so on as that has happened lol
Fourth one is use JS for tack I have a wishlist of tack I want with prices and I work on building up my JS so I can buy that piece of tack with sc
Last thing is Treat yourself for me I started it last year is buy a horse on my birthday a horse i have wanted for a good while or I have 3 and have a couple of friends choose what one I should get or if you know what date you joined star stable I know what date I joined and I have brought a horse not for my first or second year of having the game but for my third, fourth and fifth year and I always bring a friend along if they have star stable or on discord on screen share so I remember the moment and I have even brought a christmas horse the past two years so its up to you dont limit yourself so much that you end up spending them all straight away when you see you got enough save for something you really want and hell if you get enough but dont want that thing anymore thats ok find something else you like or keep saving
These are really good tips 🫶🏻
Im really bad at saving haha, I hope this will help! ❤️

I have a club where we have a training event every week so we encourage each other to train and do fun stuff instead of going on a shopping spree
that's so lovely :)

I had 3k star coins saved for winter a but black friday happened and now i have 500😅😭 Hope you get better soon❤!!

fun fact: 11 months of 1 month star rider is almost as much as lifetime (in euros at least)
Thank you so much for the tips Cass!! This helps cuz I’m broke 🤣
CASS!! I saw a video with SSOU and star stable is working on more inventory space! 😱thought you maybe wanted to know since you have a *ahem* situation...😂 love ya
I know this has nothing to do with the vid but the next live can you please do it on sunbeam palace!😊 also love your vids😊😊❤❤
great vid but by watching it i started wanting the same horse as u were leveling so thats what im gonna spend my starcoins on rn
I dont ever buy sc, I usually play the game for months and then I don’t play it for months and it saves up the sc since I’m lifetime.

Me only having 347 star coins saving up for four horses with lifetime star rider
