I went to muscat on transit back in 95 or 97 for hardly 2 days. I feel Muscat and Oman are very different from the rest of the gulf which has desert, tall buildings and more vehicular population. I find muscat very exotic, a place which is close to a holiday destination away from the usual hussle bustle
