I'm so glad I can go to this Publix again. I really missed it while it was under construction being rebuilt, but the long wait was worth it. Amazing store with Amazing staff. Every employee I encountered today was very nice. That's why I will be a Publix customer for years to come.
Your really fortunate to be close to that store.
Beautiful New Publix Store!
I live in Margate Florida, I can't wait for the NEW Publix Super Market at Palm Lakes Plaza location in Margate Florida. I will see the new store.
There is another store almost exactly like this one in Apopka, Florida at Kelly Park Crossing. I filmed it not long ago. Here is the video ua-cam.com/video/DfwN4PBICNI/v-deo.html
Publix seems to be much more organized compared to other supermarkets.
They're clean. They have quality, edible food. They care about the community. They maintain their stores. They're consistent.
The Brand new Waterford lakes Floor and Decor will open on June 7th. The exterior seems to be mostly done, some work still being done inside. It is located in a shopping center with party city, hobby lobby and also a rooms to go store is nearby. There is also Dick's sporting goods and Burlington in the area but if u reach Burlington or Dick's u went a bit too far.
Thanks Daniel.
Wow, they certainly are making this an event. I wonder how long the enthusiasm will last. 😊 Beautiful store, though, for sure!
That's the millions of dollars question.
@@OrlandoStreets One thing I can guarantee: you'll never see the shelves that well stocked again.
@@rickmathis8590 Which is why I arrived at six forty a.m.. Its been years since I've seen that.
This Publix is the best Publix I have ever been to. It amazed me walking in the front door. Yes customers are allowed to go up to the 2nd floor Cafe. I walked in as a customer, purchased a ultimate sub from the Deli and went upstairs to sit down and eat.
8 regular checkout registers and 6 self checkout machines
The Deli process was something I had never seen before. Atleast 20 different deli employees all doing something at the same time. On the side where they make all the subs, there were 4 employees.
1 wrote down what the customer wanted prepared the bread.
Another put cheese and the meat and toasted if the customer wanted
The 3rd employee put all the different toppings on the sub
And the 4th wrapped the sandwiches.
Some of these stores will have the deli in an island form.
Have you been back recently?
I haven't seen shelves that well-stocked since 2019.
Same. I don't know how Publix did it.
I actually helped out at this store a few days before opening. Though I didn’t throw stock. All I did was detail the store. Everything had to be perfect!
@@wenxinball27 It looked amazing which is why I had to see it for myself at 7a.m..
@@OrlandoStreets same I went to the grand opening aswell. I’m actually the guy in the white o Neill hoodie. You can see me in multiple shots
@@wenxinball27 The white hoodie? 11:40
when are you going to record new videos driving around florida? I really liked the previous videos, even more being recorded at 60 fps
Thanks but I'm not sure anyone else is interested. I'm not sure why. Did you have a drive in mind?
I understand ! but I would like to see a trip from Ocoee to the center of Poinciana. Poinciana is a beautiful place. but I've never seen a video showing a little more detail about the place
Poinciana? There's nothing there but lots of houses, a Walmart, Publix, Post Office, etc. I'm not driving there it's too far away. Not anytime soon, anyway.
so that's why there aren't many videos about that place. I'm watching the videos published in 2020 are very interesting, and what I love the most is the beauty of the places and the infrastructure of the roads and highways
I loved the video I just wish you would have explored the deli a little bit more.
It was pretty crowded. Maybe next time.
@@OrlandoStreets Thank you, I understand, but maybe show sum of the hot food, the sub bar and and the pre packed hot food like the fried chicken and wings . That would be awesome!
@@blakeman438 Agreed and will do. Thanks for the comment.
When I went to the new suncrest village Publix on August 13th, I saw the Publix mascot walking around. That is rare and hardly ever happens.
What did the Mascot look like?
@@OrlandoStreets
My bad I typed the wrong thing. The Publix mascot is a green dinosaur, not a dragon.
I missed it. Darn. Thanks for letting us know about it.
@@OrlandoStreets
Also the Publix mascots name is Plato
Any other Publix that I have ever been inside of that had self checkout machines accepted both cash and card payments. At this Publix its card only at the self checkout, so if u are using cash then u have to go to a cashier checkout.
Every single one? None take cash? Did you confirm with a manager?
All the self checkout machines at the Suncrest village Publix say Card only no cash.
@@danielstrawder4753 Maybe it's temporary. I would ask a manager if they will take cash in the future.
@@OrlandoStreets The Publix at Baldwin Park (#1048) had little signs placed on the SCO machines saying card only no cash/cashback.
Heard the gentleman say there maybe an opportunity there. Are you looking for a job?
No, he was telling me about another store where I might cat food.
When you do these videos can you do a drive around the area so some can see what's near and know what store locations you went to Enjoy the video. 👍
I'm sorry I don't quite understand your comment. Probably me. I used to provide a map at the beginning of these videos to show the location of the store but find people watch for a longer period after omitting said map. I don't understand that, but it is what it is. I think driving around the parking lot and area might be kind of confusing as the video is about the store, not the area. Not sure how to fix this.
Yes if u have items in your shopping cart and feel like going up to the 2nd floor Cafe, u can take the elevator with your cart.
I asked Daniel and was told I could just go up without making a purchase. Maybe because it was the grand opening. Also, it technically is not a cafe since they don't serve food up there. They call it a mezzanine.
@@OrlandoStreets
Well I was able to go up there with my sub I purchased from the Deli and they didn't stop me.
@@OrlandoStreets
I was not the only 1 up there. There were Publix employees and customers. So I'm pretty sure that Mezanine upstairs is for everyone
@@danielstrawder4753 Yes the upstairs is for anyone. There are few rooms that are for assoicates only. There are restrooms up there but i am not sure if those are for employees only or not.
@@coryscott4542
I saw employees and customers going in and out of the restrooms
The Suncrest village Publix has only been back open about a week and already the elevator inside does not work. Just goes to show that the store itself is still fairly new but modern technology fails unfortunately. Also I do not like the fact that the self checkout here only accepts card.
Did they fix those problems?
You plan on doing of the publix's or aldi's on 192 or US 27.
I should. I need to spend some time there, Celebration and iDrive.
@@OrlandoStreets Their building a Publix off I-Drive another project very unique design on the outside, maybe it will open up end of this year.
@@coryscott4542 Wow, thanks. Are you aware of any other projects in and around Orlando? I would love to cover that.
I recently filmed the newish store in Davenport near Champions Gate at Hwy 27 ua-cam.com/video/DdHAqsgxinU/v-deo.html
@@OrlandoStreets I saw that one. I dont think we did that store. There are a few Luckys conversion to Publix that are around I think its store 1751.
