When I try to convince myself that an item of clothing or shoe will fit ~ those items end up at the Good Will .. lol.
I would definitely try to find the mules in a size up. Failing that, try to find a very thin silk ankle sock so you can slide all the way forward. Any time I have kept illfitted shoes I wound up with sore feet and ultimately they wound up not being worn and, considering the price point, that would be a waste. They are very lovely!❤🎉

I have the Celine loafers in the all black version and that metal across the instep is really painful. otherwise the shoes are very comfortable. I bought shoe stretchers and that has helped. I also recommend wearing thin socks or tights with them and definitely make sure the socks come up high enough so that your bare foot is not rubbing where the metal is. I also sized up from my regular 38 to a 38.5. Good luck!
from my experience, I think exchanging a larger size pair will be the solution!!
Hmm, that’s a gamble with 8.5 mules. They are cute, so I understand the reluctance to return.

Good morning, Michele. Merry Mishmas. I can't believe it's almost over.
I wish I could sleep better. I woke at 1:30am, and was up for the day. I have dinner around 4, usually a salad or protein bar or drink, and I'm in bed by 9. So, I'm not sleeping on a full stomach. Insomnia is just awful. Glad you are sleeping well!

Love the rhinestone mules. Adorable!!! Unfortunately, you may need to size up. But they look fabulous. They'll probably give, so you'll have more room for your feet to slide up.

Alaia has really made such a comeback this year!! I got a heart purse and a pair of their flats and I’ve been so happy with both purchases. I love everything you’ve picked up!! I remember when you showed us the Celine bag and you asked, "should I get the shoes?" I said aloud to my phone, "Yes, get the shoes!!" The YSL Advent Calendar is designed so beautifully and they made it easy to find the date.

I love the Alaia mules, but need to have a back for my feet. The Miu Miu has peaked my interest. I too have mid section issues and although I love the look of belts, they don’t always look good on me.
I love the look of both shoes. When it comes to breaking in a hard new shoe, I use compeed plasters all over the foot before I even get started. It helps minimise pain. The mules are perfectly fab and very Vegas all at the same time. Do you have Pretty Ballerinas in USA? It’s all manner of ballerinas you might like. Another fun Mishmas day xx

I love the shoes!! The loafers are so good. I love the latest Hermes black loafer. Tamara, you mentioned that you follow her on UA-cam and I do as well, she recently purchased them. They have the silver Hermes lock on the top of the shoe. I can see you wearing those as well. The ALAIA mules are amazing too. Celine has a pair of ballet flats with silver studs on them similar to the ALAIA that I’m obsessed with. Great haul and video!!

The mules are too small BUT you take them to the shoe repair and have them stretch them for a few days and they will be perfect. If you get a bigger size they will be too long, same thing just happened to me with Tory Burch Mellow Mules. Those Celine shows look like they will be uncomfortable, I hope they get comfy for you.

Michelle, Order a pair of 9's,,,otherwise you will either not wear them or you will wear them & end up with cracked heals. Been there 🤔😒
The Alaia's are too small. I think you will regret keeping them. I've made this mistake and ended up not enjoying my purchase.
