Susan has lived in Kenya for many years and the Masai warriors are their friends who gave them the blessing as a gift for the married couple. It was no way a part of any "paid wedding package" for tourists ❤

I have been married for years and dont believe in elopement but watching this not only has me wanting to redo my wedding but also to elope. Have never seen such a beautiful wedding like this one. Congratulations to the couple. Great job to the lady behind the camera.

I always held your videos as the gold standard for anyone who ever wants to make videos. They are not just visually beautiful, but always have a deeper message which I love. But this video was something else. Inspired, profound, and beautiful in ways that words won't do it justice! This one moved me, I laughed and cried with them. And the story always remained about Susan and Ritchie, in spite of the surreal landscape, my attention was with them all the time; I imagine managing to pull off this feat, on the part of the creator/artist, must require some extraordinary talent and a real commitment to not just the couple, but to the art of capturing moments itself. I cried all the way through this. A story within a story - your touching response to their story, the story of the beautiful warriors that blessed them, and their love for each other and for Africa. All I can say is WOW. What a gift this film is to the world. ❤
I wasn't prepared for something so emotional🥲! It feels very true and authentic and relaxed, like the couple didn't notice the camera was there. This is one of your most perfect videos (although there are many great ones). The shots, the cutting (I love the alternating between the go pro and the finished photograph) and maybe your message will encourage others to find what is right for their wedding instead of subscribing to something generic. You are right that many people force themselves to be something they are not for this day. I also imagine traditional weddings must feel very superficial and unsatisfying for the couple, at the end of the day, the guests have eaten, listened to countless speeches, the couple spent a ton of money and many people who married that way say quite clearly they felt like it was not about them on this day, that it is a party for the guests only, while for them it was stressful and all over in a flash.

This was incredibly beautiful to watch! The land scape the connection and the moments of stillness intertwined with movement. What an unforgettable experience you had. An elopement wedding as intimate as that is truly a moment worth remembering. I love the part when they read their family's letters to them and cry at the same time. Not to mention that they wrote their vows a day before the wedding. If I were at that scene, I might as well shed some tears. Though I know that events like this may be far from what I may experience in life, I truly wanted to be wedded to someone like this wonderful couple.
