@@brianbell3836 it has been reported that the 49ers see this investment as about a 10 year one, so I can see this being the succession plan where Red Bull will grow their holding over time and take over when 49ers Enterprises decides to cash out its investment when valuation increases to a respectable level. I’m sure they want us in the Prem to increase the value of the club.
Tbf the concerns are genuine, the previous clubs they have invested heavily in they HAVE changed the team name, colours, badge etc etc. I dont think that'll happen hear, I'm staying calm, but I can COMPLETELY understand why people worry about an "RB Leeds" situation...
See i see it as Red bull are good at building a brand where there isn't one. Regarding leeds the brand is already there they dont need to add their name to the club name just need to use their powers and connections to grow it to another level.
I'm with Michael on Red Bull. I wouldn't object to Saudi funding - they respect tradition. (I think the sportswashing argument is on weak grounds phosophocally speaking anyway.) Re our squad: saying Gnonto did not step up is unfair and ignores what he had done pre-break eg Milwall - besides who did step up ? I want to see Cresswell given a chance at right defence - Gray is not the only academy product worth preserving; anyway Ipswich must have Rodon in mind. I don't think any of the renegades are any good - keeping them would simply clog up the squad. From what I saw this season Hull and Coventry are as good as us so we need to be ruthless in our actions this summer.
The Saudis fund terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. Their people live in poverty while the ruling classes bathe in asses milk. You ever tried drinking asses milk? It's disgusting.
No many good things come Leeds way so I am buzzing RB want to sponsor us and hopefully build a RB fitness and training center at Elland Road, I can o ly imagine the doors this will open!💪
So much naivety from Leeds fans about this. If you want to boil a frog, you put it in cold water and slowly raise the heat. Next year, when we go up, Red Bull will give us a much-needed cash injection... in exchange for a seat on the board. Then we'll need to expand the stadium, expensive do, but along come Red Bull to help. Of course, it will just need a slight renaming to "The Elland Road Red Bull Arena". We'll just laugh at that and call it ER as always, but all Leeds' commercial partners and broadcasters will be contractually obliged to include the words Red Bull. The full name is a bit of a mouthful, so in time, most non-Leeds fans will just start calling it "The Red Bull"... and in the end that will become the official name. Red white and blue away kit with a diagonal stripe in the 2026-27 season So, 6 years down the line we are a decent top 10 side, pushing for Europe. Well, the 49ers have a big choice to make. Their investment has paid off, but still risks going belly up if we have one bad season. But they can make back their money and more by selling the controlling stake and keep a minority holding now worth more than their initial investment. Quids in and still in the game, and those nice fellas at RB are more than happy to buy the controlling share. Of course, we might need a slight name change, and a few other details, but we can sort that out down the line...
Naivety ? Bro you think you've got the plan for them yourself. They don't pump money into clubs what are you talking about ? Salzburg ? I think I'm right in saying we sold the sixth highest amount of shirts in the world a few seasons ago. We're on Sky as much as any other team, our season ticket waiting list is 20,000 strong. We are a huge club, make no mistake.
Vampires? Stakes? Makes you think
The people who are saying this is great for Leeds, we need the investment etc are the ones who welcomed Cellino and GFH. We should be very wary of these vampires, as Dan rightly called them.
We already have a vampire🧛♂️ at leeds. Meslier the goalkeeper doesn't like crosses.
2:44 as long as the sponsors don’t have red on the shirt, we will be happy
We didn't have the Red 32 logo in red either.
Better not rename the stadium either.
@@Thirdfish it’s like you don’t listen. Football heritage act prevents this with the supports groups
wait until you see the reserve kit next season. well it can be worse than pink
@@kongvinter33 reserve kit? The kits are done. Away is YELLOW and third is bold ink and lilac (a re design of the 2019-20 promotion kit).

Oi oi One Leeds . We need a new vibe for this season . Let's all have one party when we score a goal. Let's get us going . New song remix . FEEL MY LEEDS ... TURNED AROUND !!.... ORIGINAL IS . WELSS FEEL MY NEEDS. ... LETS GO ONE LEEDS
In my opinion, the 49ers are covering their backs. If this venture goes tits up for them, they’ve got an investor in RedBull who they hope will buy them out.
Isn’t there FA rules already in place that are supposed to protect clubs identities??
No that I'm aware off, look what Cardiff City did few years ago they changed kit colour and badge from a blue bird to a red dragon, so no I don't think there is any rules in place
@@amigos2841Your wrong. The FA introduced Heritage rules in 2022. You should look it up.
Facts are without the investment, the decreased parachute payments, the repayment of outstanding loans etc this club is going nowhere! I get the fear of the red bull takeover, but Paarag has been refreshingly open up to now about whats happening and how he sees the vision. Like it or not we NEED this at this point in time. We may have more clout to hang on to most of our squad and even attract better players who otherwise wouldn't have given us a 2nd look. After whats happened this season im taking this as a positive. If theres a fight to be had down the line then so be it. But Phils right there are fewer and fewer lucrative opportunities out there, many in the Premiership never mind the championship would have jumped at a chance like this..lets have a great summer in the transfer market and unlike last year be prepared for the start of the season to hit the ground running
Great news - we need investment. - must go up this year.
I think the 49ers have opened Pandoras box
It will be fine MOT
We’re white, blue and yellow!!!
Of course i/we want investment, trophies ect. But not at any price. What upsets me more is that some Leeds fans would sell their own mothers just because someone would offer more money.
With a minority stake, could RB be positioning themselves to buy-out 49ers 9 years from now? If so, I hope we get an independent regulator in or some protection against changing the clubs badge and name.
If we're successful, why would the '49ers dump us?
If we're unsuccessful, Red Bull won't be interested in the first place.
Calm down.
But BOXT boilers are great!
I’ve heard they’re on about changing the stadium “we love red Man U devil stadium” calm down lads
Tbf the concerns are genuine, the previous clubs they have invested heavily in they HAVE changed the team name, colours, badge etc etc.
I dont think that'll happen hear, I'm staying calm, but I can COMPLETELY understand why people worry about an "RB Leeds" situation...
@@control2XSthere would be riots in the streets if any of that happened at Leeds, they won’t even think about it
@@JamesLinxdifferent situations imo
See i see it as Red bull are good at building a brand where there isn't one.
Regarding leeds the brand is already there they dont need to add their name to the club name just need to use their powers and connections to grow it to another level.
Well at least Red Bull will have plenty of cash to invest in Leeds, they managed to get 60mil plus for the scrap they sold us
I'm with Michael on Red Bull.
We will always be the WHITE ROSE
We got our jka money back 🎉
Would love to see connor from one leeds fan channel on here at some point it would be a very good debate
Can’t think of a more strange partnership? I hate to mention the Scum here but eventually they’ll take an Ineos role?
Next up ....... RB making a sizeable contribution towards redevelopment of ER, in exchange for stadium naming rights.
Isnt a big part of the proposed Govt regulator to protect football heritage?
Calm down lads. Leeds will always be united
Wembley was ace for us super Leeds
I hope it's only on the shirt 👕, leave the rest of our beloved club alone
There is really good Red Bull "White Edition" ( coconut flavour if that's your thing.(
and there was me thinking it might be Levis 🙄
It won't happen at leeds We march on together
Farke isn't going to get the team promoted, he is out of his depth.
No many good things come Leeds way so I am buzzing RB want to sponsor us and hopefully build a RB fitness and training center at Elland Road, I can o ly imagine the doors this will open!💪
Great news this ❤
Im all in for this.
The shirts will look deadly!
RB Leeds
Don't worry, after spending billions on us only to see us lose the next 10 play off finals they'll give up
Square Red Balls?
Red white and blue away kit with a diagonal stripe in the 2026-27 season
So, 6 years down the line we are a decent top 10 side, pushing for Europe.
Salzburg ? They grow clubs yes but they don't pump loads of money into them and they want to basically restart your club as there club as the price for the help raising the profile which is worth no amount of money. Would rather be in non league they have my team change kit change name change stadium it's not my club anymore is it if it's totally bloody different you fool. And for that to maybe a top 10 club ? Are you stupid mate .. the premier league is a different animal Leipzig haven't won shit and they only had 1 team to beat to a title basically last 5 years. Your analysis is pure dog mate I see no clubs they own where the pump money like a rich owners does
Salzburg in Austria only successful team tbh and that's cause they all broke in Austria. None of the other teams are the best in their league not even close I'd be surprised if even top 3 and we are talking bundesliga Brazilian league and the MLS so not even the best leagues themselves man
Fun fact. In 1767 here in Leeds Joseph Priestley invented fizzy pop.FF to 2025 we’ve sold our souls to an energy drink? are we really just another corpo£ate club? There ain’t no red in Leeds United !
This is so Leeds. Just a few days ago we were heading for promotion with a very strong squad, we are now back in the champo, about to have a fire sale and red bull are buying us. This club. FFS!
Heard it's £20m but in lieu of money owed to Red Bull clubs.
I'd rather be addicted to gambling than Red bull.
How much $$$$?
£200M-260M over 3 years.
It's all about Money these days we need this . WERE STILL LEEDS
The name change argument is utter nonsense. It just won't happen.
Small price to pay if Red Bull makes us a top 4 team again.
You're nuts. We will be called red bull Leeds and have no identity to our roots or city. Absolutely mad
@@usernotfound6648 Hull tried to change their name, FA wouldn't allow it.
@@leeevans9654 tigers has nothing to do with the owners. It was just a stupid nickname they wanted added. Red bull can say we own the club so they'll just add RB or red bull to it just like Leipzig they had rules in Germany to stop them too but they found a loophole and run with it they'll do the same here and they have crazy good connections and influences so more likely to find a way to get what they want.
