Terrible, how some people mistreat cemeteries. Instead of disrespecting them, enjoy the history and the beauty.....thanks Sue for another great historical cemetery walk!

The craftsmanship of those 1700 stones is amazing! Being able to read them 300 years later is a real tribute to the stone cutters! I hope someone reads my name 300 years from now! It is like an acknowledgment that I lived!Terrible about the fire! A great tour Sue as always💕

Oh my! How sad that someone would do such a horrid thing to a grave by setting a fire on it. A real person rests there. Very disrespectful. The headstone is beautiful. That fire could have spread and caused damage to someones property. Thank you for showing such loving respects for all who rest there. Nice Spring day here, but chilly. My yard is filled with dandolions, and fields getting green. Take care and God bless. From Oklahoma U.S.

Who on earth would set fire to someone's GRAVE, of all things?! How EXTREMELY sad and disrespectful!! The arsonists wouldn't like it if some thug set THEIR loved one's grave alight, would they now?! 😡😡

A fool to be polite. Someone might have done a ritual on top of the grave. There,s a lot of that nowadays. Most is done by young people, but not all.I hear traffic in the background, so maybe some one saw something.

An old cemetery, long forgotten...The fire whether on the grave or put on the grave....very mean. The grounds where bodies are put to rest is hallowed ground and even as a young child and now an old woman that's how I honor it. Thanx as always for a grand tour. It is so relaxing to walk with you and GV. Glad you are in good weather. Take care God bless❤😊❤😊

It’s a shame someone can’t try and clean up the gravestones. Some are so beautiful, with a soft brush, just remove those unwanted weeds and brush around them. Some of those look as if someone sand blasted them, no way to see names and dates. Ty for the tour. Tc and stay safe til next time.

When as a society did it become ok to be disrespectful of our dead. Fires vandalism even just overgrown & unkempt. The old stones so many are large & beautiful. We don't see as much of that nowadays. I wonder why. It's certainly not because most of them had more money than we do. It seems back then people showed more reverence & respect for the dead. Maybe I'm crazy & seeing things that aren't there. Another excellent video taking us through a little history. ❤❤

Nice cemetery with some old markers still readable. Maybe the tress and bushes creating a block from the direct sunlight and a buffer from the rain. Really cool. I find it interesting having a pub so close to a graveyard, lol. Well 30 degrees Celsius for you guys must be kinda hot but here in the state of Arizona in the USA during the summer months, say mid June thru early September the temperature can reach 43.33 degrees Celsius up to 45 or a little higher possibly for a few weeks at a time. Maybe even slightly higher. You better put a sun shade in the front windshield or you dashboard could warp and forget about touching the steering wheel. Get a shopping cart that been in the shade or wear gloves like I do. Even our nights cool down to a nice 30 degrees Celsius, lol. The rest of the months are nice 55-70 degrees Fahrenheit. days, 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit at night but that’s how the desert is. Frying pan to icicles, haha. Thanks for the adventure and stay cool God bless.

That is a beautiful cemetery and on a beautiful day too Sue. It is a shame people left the burnt timber and logs near that gorgeous headstone. Some people are extremely disrespectful...they don't realize some day some like minded person will leave cany wrappers, Coke bottles , broken glass , or burnt wood. All it would take is a few day's of some volunteer worker's to clear the debris out. God Bless You !!!!

Beautiful old graveyard, sad to see it forgotten. 😢 Perhaps this video will help get the word out, and some of the local people will get organized and try to restore the graveyard. What I cannot wrap my mind around, is why would anyone set fire to a grave? Yes, it was disrespectful, but was someone trying to stay warm during the winter, or do you think, that a ritual of some kind was involved? Anyway, this was a very interesting video. Thank you very much Sue, have a great day. 😊

Oh, Sue…I love deep carvings. So nice. They clearly have any others to know that they lived this life, that they were here, that was their names, their relatives, sometimes how it happen d that they died.
I feel sometimes like I’m right behind ye looking over your shoulder. (If you’re hot there, I fear for another bad Summer, God Forbid, please!) 😢
How about a winged creature 👼 🦢? 😊 Where are non-Christians buried, Sue?? Do you know what they did with those bodies? Or those in poverty, did each town have a “Potter’s Field” as we call them??
Those thick thick stones are so ::insert superlative word here::!
Do you think someone camped there?? My daughter in raw grief would go sleep on her husband’s grave in the night. Her name is on it, too…for when she’ll join him.
Nettles!! Ugh!! I walked too close to a stinging nettle when we were there in Ireland. OW OW OW!!!!
That one in the middle of the yews, I wanted to hug it so intensely! I’m getting daft in my old age!
Thanks! Sorry I write too much, yet I keep doing it 😳

Wish someone could bless and cleanse that grave and the area around it.The trick would be getting the Church to do it, whether Catholic or Church of Ireland.Or maybe some druid or wise man or wise woman.Since whatever they did you don't want it to spread any where. Maybe being silly, but people usually don't start fires on graves.

Good Afternoon Sue!! I have a question, I’m sure you and GV have been asked but I’ve never seen it so here I go! If you had permission from the keepers of the cemetery to clean the stones that were affected by lichen and other creeping crudie stuff, would you want to do that. I follow a few cemetery sites and he in the states, with permission people will use a product called D2 it’s a biologic cleaner, meaning it won’t harm the stones but when sprayed, over time it will clean the stone. Also another product that have been approved is call Wet and forget(exterior), same premise spray and leave it. Just curious what your thoughts are on that!!! Thank You, for all your Amazing work!!!🪬❤🕊️☠️🪦☠️🕊️♥️🪬
