@@alybeann nah, I think the heathers want to stick out as looking more mature and grown up by wearing these clothes. And maybe so people know it's them. Like, a signature look to stand out. Plus, the school doesn't have a uniform.
I dunno i always enjoyed the symbolism of the color coding. Chandler wears red to signify her power and sexuality, Duke wears green as she's envious and waiting for the chance to take over and McNamara wears yellow showing she's the least evil of the pack.
Basically the brown haired girl (Veronica) refused to give a fake love note to her friend who is bullied (Martha) and the heathers git mad about that and that’s kinda how that song happened and I would recommend watching the heathers because if I say the lore it would spoil the plot if you wanna watch the heathers look up “heathers slime tutorial” and you can choose one I would recommend watching the off broadway version but you can choose
