Good demonstration of the power of the mower watching the leaves move as well as seeing the effect on Eva. As a father to several children myself, I applaud teaching outdoor work skills to children. I started as a kid in Arkansas with a machete clearing briar patches, and now I am looking at my first backpack blower at nearly 70. Good job as a parent to you both.

Yay, another great episode of “outdoors with Melissa”. Eva, you did a swell job with the leaf blower. Spray that boot with “simple green”, let it soak in for a minute or two and put the hose on it.

Wow, Eva looks just like Mom, thank God ! Just kidding Mike ! She handled the blower like a champ ! I Stihl would like to know why Stihl doesn't make the blower tube like they did on the old BR 400's with the angle on the end and a removable mid pipe, it really helps with getting the leaves out from under bushes and other things ? Thumbs up for the twins clap !!!!

four years ago and the daughter has REALLY matured, but kept the sweet disposition. Needed a “ODWM” fix and this one was past my memory span (I’m old enough to hide my own Easter eggs) and lucked out to find both of my fav UA-cam females. 😅

I had the opportunity to utilize a BR800 today. Wow, it's like strapping a jet engine onto your back. Even heavily saturated leaves are no match for this thing!

I can't believe you made it through that mud on your zero-turn I have the Husqvarna mz61 it gets stuck a lot I have to pull it out with the tractor or the pickup
Nice video. We have a Toro electric leaf blower. That thing will stand on end from the wind coming out. It is very light, powerful & light. Yes, you need to have a couple long extension cords, but it works great.

It's amazing how big the kids backpacks are nowadays.
Thank you for this. I have twin 13 year old daughters and was trying to figure out if I bought the 800 if the girls could use the unit as well as their parents. They are active swimmers and in good shape so seeing your daughter do it convinced me that they can do it as well. They want to help me out so this proves they could if they still want to.

Great job on the leafs ladies, and a good life lesson; sometimes you just step in it. Mike, I think small fish instinctively seek out flowing water out of a pond, maybe to spread their species to new territory? My dad has a 12 acre pond, and when he first stocked it, they had a hurricane that filled his pond so fast it went over the spillway. He has a 10" stand pipe overflow below the damn, and even a 16" gatevalve below the dam, but he didn't open it quick enough (even that might not have been enough). He figures he lost at least half of his fingerling bass and bluegill that he had just stocked the pond with. They congregated at that water flowing out the spillway, and worked to get out. He tried everything to stop them; chicken wire, netting, etc ... with no success. They left the pond until the water dropped enough to hold them back. He didn't have a tractor at that time to pile mud in the spillway. Hope you all have a great Fall.
