No new truck for me ever again! Bought one a few years ago & after being back in the dealer shop for various loose items. We took it to a regular garage. They tightened several loose bolts on the front end.
I watched a video where a guy was saying that the cars dealers are in big trouble because nobody is buying cars because they are too much. And the used car places are not getting the trade ins so it’s bad all around.
Don't you just need 1 four wheel drive? That would save you a lot of money. I'd buy it now, they are only going to get higher. Take us along with you to shop for a new truck, I love looking at them! Then, you could run around a lot more. Life is short, have some fun.❤❤❤
Bought a 2019 Ford EcoSport Titanium 11,120 miles for $19,200 in 2021. My mileage in 2024 is 12,420. At 62, I don’t drive much, work from home. I feel like I got a good deal and will probably be my last vehicle. Got it paid off this March. Debt free again. Goal is to retire at 65. Insurance is a beast every month. But gotta have it. Sorry for the ramble. Yes, Mickey!! Memories of my younger years.
I had a 74 Ford Pinto, heavy little 4-cylinder. Engine was running on 3 cylinders at 90K miles, traded at Ford dealer. I have a 2005 Lexus RX330, had to put some money in that; and since last Aug traded in 2017 Mustang GT for a 2022 GMC Canyon. Love the truck.
Ya cant say people arent still buying these Vehicles no matter what they cost because the auto industry wouldnt be having the profits they have had since the pandemic if it wasnt happening...BIG YUGE PROFITS !!! For my $$$ what we are all seeing today is major league corporate greed...EVERYTHING costs twice as much and corporations that provide consumer goods all over the map are making record quarterly profits for a couple yrs now...People love to say its all inflation....BULLPUCKY !!!! Its every bit just as much U.S. Corporate greed as it is inflation....Add the two together and we have what we got today....A hole in your wallet
I wouldn’t ever buy new. I bought a 2014 used GMC 4x4 with 40 + miles and I paid cash. My brother is very good at buying used Vehicle’s. He has 7 cars and trucks he drives. 2 are Box trucks for our farmers market. He had his own shop to restore cars trucks and motorcycles. Be careful buying new. Cars aren’t what they used to be.
How much fuel could you put into your truck for $30K+ that you would spend on a new vehicle, then the cost of maintenance, insurance, and fuel for it. Probably more than you will need for the rest of your life. It is going to cost you much more than you will ever spend in fuel for your current truck.

I've rented 6 new model vehicles in the last 3 years.( You may want to consider renting the model you are interested in for a test run and fun😆) I was Disappointed by all of the rentals with the exception of 1 Chevy 1500 4x4. It was equipped with a sport/launch mode that would plant your head into the headrest with a tap of the throttle 🏁😆👍🏼. It had cooled and heated seats. Also, it came with a really nice bose radio system with micro speakers everywhere. It was a gasser, I was getting 22mpg with my lead foot. I get 16-20 mpg with my duramax diesel that's PAID for. A new 2500hd duramax Starts at 70,000.00🫣🤯!!! I've still been keeping my eye open for a decent 70 elcamino for you😎.
