Dude, you're good. It is really amazing to watch. As a (retired) judoka, the moves themselves, apart from the leg locks, aren't exactly completely new, but the level of detail on how you control your arms, hips etc, in every situation, is truly amazing grappling. The lightspeed breakdown, is your humoros style, but forces me to pause, or rewatch. 😊
Here’s something that can change your way of life or thinking. This is the most important thing you will hear/read today. If you’ve told one lie, stolen anything, or lusted (which is adultery of the heart), you’ll be found guilty on Judgment Day and end up in Hell. But there’s good news: Though we broke God’s Law, Jesus, the prophesied Messiah, perfectly kept the Law, fulfilling all righteousness. He paid the fine for sinners ( that we could never pay ) by suffering and dying on the cross-absorbing the wrath of God that we deserve. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. Today, repent and trust Jesus; God will grant you forgiveness and the gift of eternal life. God bless God bless ❤❤
I'm about to start judo and the dojo that teaches it teach no gi grappling as well. I'm gonna learn them both so I can be just as dangerous on the ground as I am on on my feet.
@@slickwilly6868 Sounds good, but no-gi is not that essential to stand-up or ground game. It is just different. Sure, you have more options with throws, but you also have a few more submission/pin options. It's just a different philosophy.
Your humor for me amplifies my learning ability (which is a smart psychological fact). You also explain it with fundamentals and practical explanations which i havent had before, my gym was like "just do it bro"
Such good breakdowns, I’m not much of an auditory learner, always replaying things to hear people through their motions but you deconstruct your videos so well! Keep it up:)
6:23 that was uki-goshi and finished with harai-goshi, for it to be taio-toshi he had to plant the feet on the ground and throw you over his leg, not his hip. great vid jedi, keep em comin 💪
Love your videos man, great commentary funny stuff, excellent job at letting people know what’s happening in the moment. Im a purple belt myself just wanted you to know I appreciate your videos. Great job keep em coming
I don’t know squat about either of those ma styles but the narration was great. High energy, succinct, humorous, and informative/educational. That and the obvious ma skills make me want to watch more.
People need to realize that there is no such thing as the ultimate style. It all depends on how it is taught. Also, students each come to their own conclusion about the style. How they use it depends on how they find ways to adapt it to their needs.
Love watching your video. BJJ is made expensive around my area so it isn't in my family budget and I can't roll with my wife for various reasons so in my mind I'm keeping up the BJJ thought process by watching your vids! I'll eventually get back in but for now, thanks for your tutelage!
When u have that 2 on 1 and they frame on ur head you can just post off the crease in their elbow with the hand controlling the wrist and drop to a double leg
First off Welcome to my country! 2nd excellent explanation of the action. Footlocks are a must to learn in the current grappling landscape. And also can you roll with a Catch styled wrestler at some point to see how BJJ works? Grappling ftw!
Yo I'm a brand new white belt watching how y'all roll is very fun I hope I can get to an experience level where I can have non exhausting rolls like this where we actually play the game & not just try to force things. Great commentary too btw ya nerd
I've been thinking of starting BJJ, but I've been pretty worried of injury, I'm still young so it probably won't be a problem any time soon, but what is your opinion?
Go to class, tap out early, be ok with loosing, try to avoid standup/takedown for about a year since breakfalling is new to you and injury is easy if you end up going with a competitive wrestler. All the same, identify the more competitive teammates and either avoid them/ be ready to tap out the entire time you go with them. Just show up and tap out when you are beat. I’ve been going for 4 years and my proudest achievement has been that I’ve never been put to sleep or seriously injured due to a readiness to tap 👍.
joining later wont make you less prone to injury, unless something happened (and you have the right not to tell us...). but practice fall breaks, try to put pride aside (avoid getting forceful yourself). rolling with more experienced players is usually safer because they can deal with you in a more measured manner. noob vs noob is the best way for somebody to get hurt. later pay back by being the higher student that treats newbies with care :)
In addition to trying to take it easy and tap early, I'd also make sure to leave enough recovery time between training sessions, which probably means not going more than 2, maybe 3 times a week max, at least until you're used to it and maybe indefinitely if avoiding injury is more important than competitive goals.
I'm a judo black belt whos new to bjj. Watching all of your videos has definitely given me an edge. So thank you young man!
hey! same here just the opposite haha i am a jiu jitsu black belt and i recently joined a judo club and wrestling gym to improve my grappling game !
Wholesome
Taken me a while to get to grips with BJJ. Definitely have to adjust the Judo ground game
I think your judo black belt also gives you an edge 😉

Had the pleasure of competing with Joash a few years back at SAMBO Panams. He's a great athlete and a gentleman.

You should try out some rounds with a Sambo rule set. It would be fun to see how you adapt to it. I’m glad to see more BJJ and Sambo content.
As a bjj guy. I'd like this
He’d get rag dolled though.
He'd get his face repeatedly slammed into the ground lol. And that's without any striking.
love how you explain everything as you go. awesome content
Hey dude love the technical commentary with no ego. Subscribed.
Dope rolls, enjoyed the showcase of skill on both sides
Always happy to see 🇹🇹 get some UA-cam love outside of our food.
Same big up big up

Dope rounds, thanks for keeping the great training vids coming amigo! A++ for the Dark Souls boss fight bar.
Your "sick takedown " is called Uki Waza... it's judo 😂😂
Evert martial arts has names for everything
It is not "Judo" its just fighting
@@Un1-ju2pq you're right but each style has different nuances so it's Judo based on how he did it, not so much what he did
Love the commentary - so much skill. RESPECT DUDE.
I love your content, you do great job in breaking down everything.
Amazing grappling and breakdown! Love.
This is the first I've seen of this channel man. Good breakdown

True. Which is why I like to try them all
Exactly
But some people cant understand
The evolution of grappling in the last 30 years is amazing..
That was awesome. Your commentary gave me some insight in to my own game.
Very well made video, constantly interesting, no dull moments. Oh, and you have skills.
Brilliant showcase of skills, thanks for the commentary 🤩
Jedi nice to see your channel has grown so much, i still remember when you were doing all your videos editing on your phone👍
Bjj with just a little bit of standing wrestling/nogi judo is infinite times better to watch.
"I'm actually a big fan of *just standing up, bro*"
I LOLd
Jedi the blow-by-blow commentary is on point 🔥💯
bruh, just discovered your chanel. This is gold, keep it up.
Jedi' I think your self analysis is actually why you can be so successful too in your sport.

That was an excellent roll. 😳
I love your videos. I learn a lot and have fun at the same time. If you ever come to Patagonia, let my know.
The "checking what all the buttons do" was 😂
Obligatory "thats not a tai otoshi"
Rolling with Thai Shorts. Fuckin respect.

I wish I could some day have skills to do rolls like these. It’s like some bloody aikido, but real.
That’s was epic. Thank you
I've been subscribed. I'm a 35 year Jiu-jitsu practicioner. As in I'm 42 and I wanna be on you. Love your channel bro!

Did he tap you out at least once or are these just highlights of you tapping him out?
We got blue ballsed at the end lmaoooo
Great roll. Was this the same dude Jordan was rolling with in his recent video?
Epic battle

Does someone know the shorts and thermal pants the sambo guy is wearing?
dude your moves were slick
Great vid brah brown belt here love it
The turns have tabled 😂
I live trinidad and tobago, I didnt know you came here. danngggg i missed out big time and tyler was here?!? wawwwww
In my opinion, I like a wider base, short base, makes you top-heavy… my instructor taught me to open my gate whenever someone’s under my legs
Great job.

I click like just to see your break ... haha.. love your vids
Combat Sambo!!! 🙏👍👍👍👍 I like Combat Sambo & Combat Systema for the Streets.
Wanna see you do Sambo in a video, or any striking. Would be cool to see BJJ guys completely out of their element (have never seen one).

Thanks Lary

Great editing.
Awesome work Jedi!
Did you just do Tyler like that?! 😂😂

Nasty triangle
This is like play fight, nobody is going 100%
could u do a video wer u roll with walid ismail?
It's pronounced "to bay go" but I'm so glad to see the island highlighted in combat sports
the grab ankle and push shoulder is easily countered by knee to chest and roll ? no?
I’ll be there in Tobago for the 2024 trip, I’m down!!
Judo'n't even know, bro!
Im white belt but bc of my judo basis even brown belts have a hard time taking me down.. same w wrestlers
Great stuff.
