I bought Ljibbe from Paul three years ago. He is still the most wonderful horse I have ever known. He is a pleasure to be around. The perfect gentleman at all times and my best friend. We have a lot of fun together. Paul is amazing with his horses and his training methods. Ljibbe will still do all the things Paul taught him and he enjoys every minute of it. I am truly proud to own this horse. He is one in a million. Thank you so much Paul for allowing me to call this horse my friend.
Hi, Marnie!! I haven't met you yet but I'm Paul's other half. I am ecstatic that Ljibbe is doing so well and is loved to pieces. He is such an awesome horse. When I got together with Paul he let me play with Ljibbe as a beginner even though he was still a stallion! There couldn't have been a better teacher for a newbie. Give him a rub for me, please and maybe I can talk Paul into going down there one day to visit!
@@zeldab1293 Hi Zelda. Nice to meet you. I will definitely give him an extra rub for you. I'm sure he would love to see both you and Paul. He never forgets. Take care
Do you have a UA-cam channel where you could show us some videos of the beautiful horse you bought. Does he have any foals? I've learned so much about this breed of horses they are absolutely gorgeous and so gentle
My heart be still this horse is exquisite WOW absolutely breathe taking . A fine example of the Friesan breed 😊Whoever was blessed enough to have brought this stallion is going to be truly happy with this amazingly versatile horse .
Finally a Friesian that is not this stupid modern long backed nervous wreck. And finally a Friesian getting to show off the breed's intellegence, suppleness and willingness. This is how a Friesian stallion should look. Happily working and playing. Not frantically trotting around.
He is exquisite beautifully gaited lovely mover love his conformation it is so wonderful to see these horses being brought back from near extinction the movie ladyhawk that was the first time anyone knew of these exquisite horses I believe the name of the horse was Goliath what a beautiful majestic animal he is love love these horses
Go to this mans other videos and web page... he is a wonderful trainer!! Marvelous to see these horses react o him wihout fear and do his bidding! APPLAUSE!
Why would anyone want to sell this magnificent animal after all the work that went into him. He's a rare jewel and he's stunning. I hope he went to a good home
I wish I could learn how to work with horses like this. My father has kept horses around me for as long as I can remember and we have owned wild naughty things to the sweetest of horses but I always wish I could teach the horses more. So sad that where I live in Puerto Rico it is so hard to even come near a really good horse master. Cheers for this video!
Pony BOM : Really? You are around horses and have that attitude? I would say start with your crappy attitude. I wouldn't let you touch my horse given your comment.
K . J . Mudge The horse is beautiful. I just don’t like seeing such a grand and wonderful animal made to balance on a tiny box like a rodeo trick pony. If that makes me a moron, then I can live with it. 😊
Rewarding is seen in this dressage, that is the way you should give your attention to this horse or any kind of animal No spanking. no harsh voice but commands ending in minor-tune.
Susan Flowers : People like you are idiots and dangerous. Their is nothing wrong with using a bit. Fools like you endanger the lives of children that believe the crap you spew.
WoW! he is truly wonderful! how could you sell, he is so tune into you , I know there's always a reason, just commenting, it would be a great horse to have
Beautiful video, but am going to point out that every time he turns away from you changing direction is a bad thing. You want them to turn while looking at you, not facing away.Showing the rump is a sign of disrespect and them not wanting to listening. Other than that you seem like a very good trainer :) and beautiful Horse
Just so you know: “Training for Courage Performance Horses are available for working on commercial, television and film sets. The horses are safe and well socialized, have good liberty skills, and very diverse riding/driving talent. Paul has on-set experience and his horses have solid foundations in handling novel, loud and busy situations positively with an ability to deliver reliable performances. These horses all have their individual charismatic appeal.” : )
Hi, I am Paul's partner (not in the training but in life!) Thanks for your good comments. Just to let you know, Paul has two commands when asking a horse to change direction. Reverse, they turn in towards him and Switch, they make the outside turn. Ljibbe was never disrespectful to Paul in anything in this video or ever. He's one of the sweetest horses you'll ever meet!
+Iris Wenskowski Ljibbe was sold weeks ago. Not sure what you are talking about. His sale price was 25K his breeding fee was 1k till sold. He is now gone and gelded.
Iris Wenskowski omgg you know 0 bout horses, there are trained horses, untrained horses, begginer horses, show horses, dressage horses, showjumping horses🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ and he is a freaking fresian do you even know what that means, educate yourselfs before you speak
CarinaLynn Spinuk a horse is not a hamster, he isn’t something shiny and wild that you can show of with, he is an animal that needs lots and lots of care and someone to be ready to work with them 24/7 and also somoene who can ride and knows a lot bout horses🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

I never tire of looking at the Freisans and the way this baby has been trained has made my morning. Beautiful work
This guy is one hell of a trainer.... I love his "way".
That is one confident, chill horse
My heart be still this horse is exquisite WOW absolutely breathe taking . A fine example of the Friesan breed 😊Whoever was blessed enough to have brought this stallion is going to be truly happy with this amazingly versatile horse .
A perfect and wonderful friend. Wish him a good life.
Superb horse. Really like this way of training. The lightest touch. Very impressive. I'd love him. He's sold, of course he is. Lucky owner.

Beautiful horse & so well trained! He’s fabulous!
Beautiful animal, love the "natural" head set, no forced Rollkur.

Wow he is very well trained
Why would anyone want to sell this magnificent animal after all the work that went into him. He's a rare jewel and he's stunning. I hope he went to a good home
Many trainer train a horse till a point they can sell him and then start with a new horse. That's why they're trainers.
I wish I could learn how to work with horses like this.

He’s so beautiful
Just wonderful 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What a good trainer
what a beauty
OMG if I owned this breathtaking creature I could never part with him. There's not enough money in the world to make me sell him. He is gorgeous.
why would any one give a video with a friesian in it a thumbs down
Emma Erickson i dont believe it either they are either jealous or just plain morons .
K . J . Mudge The horse is beautiful. I just don’t like seeing such a grand and wonderful animal made to balance on a tiny box like a rodeo trick pony. If that makes me a moron, then I can live with it. 😊
Magnificent and beautiful 😇
This guy leaves me speechless!
I look like Arthur or Alexander riding this horse ! Awesome 🐴❤️
Wow! I'm impressed!!!

Too bad he's using a bit, didn't look as though he really needed one. Beautiful horse! And of course this trainer is something to behold.

This man is an excellent trainer. Where are you located?
Sorry that Paul never replied. We are in Kelowna, BC Canada.
Ils es trop beau ton cheval 🐴👍🏻😀😶
i whana buy it👍👍👍👍💞💕💗💜💜💚💓 he will be a good friend WITH SHADOW my fresian stallion
Did you buy it ❓
no I already have one
If you own a FRIESIAN then at least learn how to write it. Fresian is wrong. There's no Freseland. It's a Friesian from Friesland.
awesome
Amazing

The horse change directions according to what he was commanded to do not because he was showing disrespect
What is it's price ???
How much is the horse?!
Que cavalo lindo! A natureza é perfeita e só falta o homem cuidar mais dela. Amo cavalo, faz pena que eu não tenho nenhum !
Jan. 2, 2016 - Ljibbe is still for sale to the right home. Asking $25,000 CDN.
+Paul Dufresne They have ask for the horse 1.000 $ befor so why the price have gone up so much?
+Iris Wenskowski Ljibbe was sold weeks ago. Not sure what you are talking about. His sale price was 25K his breeding fee was 1k till sold. He is now gone and gelded.
There's no way you can buy a Friesian for 1000 dollars.

CarinaLynn Spinuk : Yeah sure until it kicked you and then what? Broken leg? Crushed ribs? A horse isn't a cat.

Ljibbe is sold!
Paul Dufresne - could you update your description of this video to reflect that he's been sold?
No surprise there! Very lucky person who bought him!
WOW
best
thumbs down are prolly for the guy holding a whip??
Extension of your arm. Not for actually whipping an animal into submission.
Supper
WHO THAT IS ACTUALLY PRETTY CHEAP!
love the horse but to make him go on a feet round block is a little stupis, circus like...but the rest is beautiful
The move actually stretches their topline and relaxes them. It's like rounding your back in a stretch.
Ну, как собаку дрессирует, класс!!
Это Фриз, красавчик!
Zorro's horse!
Is it crazy if not can you give me it. And give me hey and everything that it needs OK so can I ckip it
Onesimo Velazquez a horse is not it, Horses are not hamsters, you clearly wouldn’t be able to take cafe of a goldfish let alone a horse🙄
Leuke vriend met een zweep.dieren beul
