All I can say is wow! ! I felt like a little miracle happened when I tried the second method for the first time...it actually works! !! It's adorable and secure, this is the only method that has EVER worked. .thank you so much Missy Sue!
LOVE that all of these require no backcombing, but #1 is my favorite. Had to make a few modifications as my hair is fine and needs the elastic to be twisted 3 times, so.....put hair up in high pony tail using a thick elastic band. Then hold the base of the pony tail with your non dominate hand and fan the hair around your fist. Take a second elastic and wrap it around the hair twice, placing it below the first band on each wrap. Now proceed with the instructions in Missy Sue's video. Loved this one so much I had to find a way to make it work for me. I have fine hair and have worn this style 4 or 5 times now and it not only stays in place all day with very little hairspray, the bun stays full looking. Thank you for the inspiration.
I’ve seen some of these updos before, (we’re very similar), but I have to admit, you do the most phenomenal job of showing us how to do it. You’re the first person who ever put the camera up top so that we could actually see what was going on. (Genius)! Still looks a bit complicated but I’m going to try a couple of these. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial! I've been trying to replicate the second bun forever without ever succeeding. Now it finally makes sense how to twist both the rubber band and the hair into a part of the bun. Can't wait to try it!!!
this was the most helpfull messy bun tutorial I have watched, I loved the 2nd one, it works great with my hair. My hair is the type that is so fine and slippery to work with and this is the only hairdo that my hair will hold. Thank You. Oh and I love it!!!
number 2 is so pretty, but I literally can't do it I swear you're literally blessed with making perfect messy buns cause the amount of times I have tried makes me wanna literally chop my hair off from all the knots I made LOL for sure did it wrong!
+Angelie Kurichh I wanted to do her up style that has the dutch fishtail braid on the side going down into bun #2 for an event... The braid havent done it in a while but 2nd go got it how i wanted it - 4 hours later bun #2 = me with headache literally from pulling on my hair. it wouldn't even stay in place properly for me to get my bobby pins out and pin it...
Nunca me he suscrito a nada, ni he comentado a nadie por UA-cam. Pero eres maravillosa!!!! Wowww me fascinan los peinados que haces. Me parecen magestuosos ..... Eres muy buena!!! Tienes un gran talento .... Mi total admiración 😍
Thank you so much super helpful!!! I am going to try w my ponytail extension For lazy days at the pool And elegant nights out with glittery glam drop earrings and beautiful accessories. Thank you so much very helpful
has anyone else mastered the 2nd bun with no 3rd mini bun ?? i love it lol only reason im going to subscribe is because this is the first video that really helped me!!
+Saree Davis how long is your hair? I cant get the second one to stay in its too loose even when i do a base pony tail then do the bun from start to finish the bun falls out :(
After crying and swearing for about 20 minutes I finally got it!!! Its just a bun, but yet SO HARD to make a good looking one! I think i need a drink now!
How do you get the volume and the look on looseness in the roots of your hair? My hair just goes either fully sleeked back or really bumpy and by the way my favourite was the second bun.
+Natalie Cardosi Hi Natalie, I pinch and pull the hair forwards at the very end (: I don't always do this but that's a great way to add volume without back combing (:
no matter how messy your hairstyles are, they still look polished. You are amazing indeed.
This just proves how much effort goes into something that is supposed to be messy and effortless
Making something clean is easier than making something messy and effortless
Definitely love the second one!! Spent all my break time practicing it, and finally I made it! Thanks for the amazing tutorial.
All I can say is wow! ! I felt like a little miracle happened when I tried the second method for the first time...it actually works! !! It's adorable and secure, this is the only method that has EVER worked. .thank you so much Missy Sue!
You do the buns so nicely, and you make it look so easy. My favorite is the first bun.
The second bun was my favourite but probably the one I'm least likely to be able to do! You make it look effortless !
Loved your tutorial! As a lady that doesn't know how to do any hairstyles but straightening this was easy. I liked the 3 little buns in one.
By far, this is the best tutorial on messy bun. Especially, you repeated some of the steps a few times, to make it possible to follow . Thumb up !!!

You’re welcome! Thank you for watching! 🩷
Thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial! I've been trying to replicate the second bun forever without ever succeeding. Now it finally makes sense how to twist both the rubber band and the hair into a part of the bun. Can't wait to try it!!!

Bun #1 was my favorite! My hair is medium length but still way too short for bun #2. Bun #3 is fun too! :)
Muy lindo peinado y bien explicado. Mil bendiciones desde Colombia
How do you get the volume and the look on looseness in the roots of your hair? My hair just goes either fully sleeked back or really bumpy and by the way my favourite was the second bun.
