I find the background noise relaxing and adds an extra layer to the video

for dealing with the background noise, try turning the gain knob on the mic as low as possible when recording. then when editing on your computer, normalize the audio back up. a lower gain will pick up less of the background. you can look it up online about the blue yeti.
