why didnt they put a gate up on their porch, the dead couldnt have gotten in___i always thought it was so dumb in alexandria that they didnt reinforce the bottom windows, and put a fence around each house perimeter___but it is a tv show, not real life

Ron is a very bad writing character. The actor is excellent, but Ron is hatefull. His personality is one-dimensional. The showrunners wrote the character so badly that he just becomes a simple jerk. It comes down to being Carl's rival, and that's it.
I don't know what you're talking about. Ron is one of the best written characters on this show. He's obviously mad at Rick for killing his dad, and mad at Carl for becoming close with his girlfriend. Ron's a teenager with barely any support. He has multiple mood swings and personality changes through the season. Jesus Christ dude, tune into the show once in a while.
@@alexanderedwards5810 Hello. You're right. But I find the character's writing to be poorly done and sloppy. If the character had been well written, I would have felt pain and compassion for him, I only had hatred and contempt. During Ron's death, I felt relief, even though I am a sensitive person. His father beat his mother, but you never saw what Ron felt, what it did to him. In Season 5, it never feels like he knows his dad is beating his mom. It's never discussed, even in season 6. Sorry, dude, but I've seen traumatized teenage characters written a lot better than Ron. I have seen better. "He's obviously mad at Rick for killing his dad, and mad at Carl for becoming close with his girlfriend. " So cliché. The series got me used to better-built characters.
I agree that he was written poorly enough for me to dislike him, but towards his death after he saw his family be eaten, Austin Abrams was a good enough actor for me to feel sad
