Thanks for all the fine videos. I finally too the plunge and installed Edge on my MAX (my daily driver so to speak) ... i choose to try the 2.7 rc1. ;o) Copied my models over to the new SD card and they got converted. I deleted the bin-files to clean up stuff. Its great - and i appreciate all the work the devs do. My other TX16S is getting OpenTX and waiting for the 2.3.15 release.
Good job! EdgeTX is the path forward I believe.
Thank you for the update snippet. EdgeTX is the way to go. I don’t even think twice about going back to OpenTX!

"I've already got a template made." Good for you, but you didn't tell ME how to make one!
Hello…I have the 2.7.1 version and when I go to select model it shows 3 templates which one is the only model I have set up so far. I then hit the scroll wheel and it shows …creat model, duplicate model and save as template. Another issue I have is when I power on my radio, the only plane I have set up so far becomes active.

Nice little organization tool. I kind of hope they develop a way to let us edit our templates though.

If I upgrade from 2.5 (TX16S) to 2.7 will I lose all my settings? Not sure if the upgrade is worth all the hassle. Thank you!

I’m having trouble figuring out the inputs and mixer to setup my arm. I don’t get why I can’t figure this out! HaHa
Arm? As in arming switch? You really should get on the RCVR discord and ask there.

Where is it different or better than just copying ?
Usually over time, I make adjustments specific to a model including trim, subtrim, timers, etc.. So copying a production model half the time requires "undoing" things that have been done to fine tune that model.
As I mentioned in the video, moving the templates to a different location cleans up the model selector.
