I bought a Chinese Dean ML and i love it i dont care if it comes setup as long as the wood is good. What do people think they're gonna get for 500 these days
For the money,you got a cool looking Concord-ish guitar. And now sounds pretty good. I'm sure it could have been worse! Hell,I have 14 Jacksons ,and the real version of what you have ,that I picked up straight from Jackson,and people still ask if it is from China! Hey,it's cool,everybody buying these Gibsons and other guitar that claim they are made here in the USA ,are all made in Asia and sent here to be assembled ,so they can charge thousands of dollars ,it is all as scam! You just cut out the middle man,and the Q.C.,but,you got it!
I agree about most of that. In my experience, the really problem with cheap guitars is mostly just fit and finish. A little bit of labor and some changes and you’ll have a great guitar.
My point is, it doesn't matter where the guitar was built. What matters is the construction method used, and the dimensions, and the materials used. Regarding everything mentioned, the fucking guitar could have been made on the moon and it would be a kick ass guitar same quality as Gibson Fender or Jackson. Fuck the over priced USA guitars.
Wow! Even tho you had those issues and your dislike for the ppl who made it - all in all (obviously, it always require a little tweaking but...) for that RR Concorde, it sounds like the spirit of Randy comes through it so I personally wouldnt feel too salty about it.
Unfortunately that's the risk you take when you buy Chinese made guitars but it sounds good and it looks like it plays nice enough for the "fun factor"
not a real guitar man, its something you hang on the wall, perfect for someone who has real guitars but likes to fidle with a clone, the real guitar is also not worth it, Randy told a relative of mine it was better to get a les paul, over priced guitars like this are chances or not full time guitars
Fat Lip exactly the one Randy even had he wasn't too fond of anyway. The high frets aren't easy to access it looks nice as an Ozzy collector to hang on the wall :)
i got a fake jackson kv1 mustaine king v made by rare guitars. i got it on craigslist used. it is really nice. i got lucky and got a really good one i guess.
How is the neck glue joint holding up on this Concorde? I saw how they are made as set necks with basswood bodies, which is terrifying. If it's a neck through maple with basswood wings that's perfectly stable, but I'm just curious on how some of these knock off concordes are holding up after a few years. Is the neck/body joint cracking, bending etc?

One way or another, China is going to be in the equation. There are USA sellers who buy them from China and then mark them up about 150$ here in the USA . So that’s an option. But you can get Prince shaped guitars at DHgate for about 3-400$.
Like anything else in life, you get what you pay for in guitars or anything for that matter. If you did not drop 3-5k (depending on desperation of your seller) on your Concorde, it is a fake. Know what you are buying and NEVER buy anything expensive from overseas because you have ZERO legal recourse. At least in the USA you can sue where the defendant lives, so you have a possibility of recovering your money. I never understood why anyone would buy a reproduction guitar for $500 and not save up for the real thing? Now you have a piece of junk that 7k people have seen and nobody would pay $5 for at a store.

this is why we should buy genuine jackson.. it's cheap shitty chinese knockoff and $498 is still way too much expensive considering its quality and shipping time it took. I reckon that guitar is $100 or less worthy guitar. I know USA jackson is exy, but with that money he could have bought japanses one or indoneisian one. btw nice play dude!
These aren't that bad when you pull all the hardware, electronics, nut, and tuners off and replace them with high quality parts. I have seen quit a few videos out there were people have said that if you put $500 into these guitars they sound, play, and feel better that the real thing. I would buy a Randy rhoads 1.5 but I don't have $2000 plus laying around so this copy will work
I'm considering using them to play around with the Ignition 459 model's specs (2 inches larger in all dimensions body and a 34" scale length rather than standard 30"), do I really want a $1198 clone of a $275 (used) guitar? Kinda. But also I'm incredibly scared of the company, mainly the unpredictability.
I just received mine. It’s possibly the worst guitar I’ve ever played. Everything about it is absolute shxt. They advertise a good looking one and then they bait and switch. I knew it wasn’t going to be great but wow!!!! This is worse than a toy guitar.
