Hello, yay! My experience in year 1 & 3 (was in a house for 2nd year) in terms of socially - I was very lucky and got along with all my flat mates, just be yourself, kind, polite and hopefully all should be fine. However, don’t force it! There are plenty of other ways to make friends!

Yes, definitely space on the desk for a TV (depending on the size) as I’ve seen other flat mates do this. However it will obviously limit your space.

No, the grey desk lamp was mine! But I actually didn’t use mine as there’s a light beam underneath the overhanging shelving unit which is super bright and covers any work done at the desk!

Yes correct! My flat was a flat of 5, so the beds where 3/4 in size rather than a single. Cost was £146 per week and I believe this can be found on the UniteStudent website. x
