I was at the Nile for that show, too. They kicked ass! 100% energy start to finish.
Noora always led me to believe that the horns are dragon horns. In D&D lore, dragons are creatures with no fear. They are actually not capable of feeling fear in any circumstance. They would only retreat out of strategy because they are very intelligent and smart. It makes perfect sense to me when Noora says that she wears horns of courage. In a moral sense, Noora Louhimo is a super heroine.

I was at the Santa Ana concert and loved the performance. A concert I will remember the rest of my life. Great musicians, and Noora's voice!!! Noora's voice . . . I was so honored to hear hear her voice live, what an amazing voice!!! Thank you Noora for your vocals, and the talented band around you.
Best female voice out there at this time, and maybe best female metal voice of all time. Her stage presence is amazing too.
I am so happy their tour has been doing well.
Their live-streams are very much appreciated for those of us outside the urban areas.
Just out of curiosity, was this right before the show? Costuming and stage makeup are immaculate !
The Horns : YES !!
Having raised Shetland Sheep for 20+ years, I can testify that horns are not just a symbol of stereotypical evil.
My avatar is my last ram.... those horns... if Noora ever wants to create an image that knocks down barn walls, she is welcome to pattern a set after my dear friend Race (named for the Johnny Qwest character). The serrations are important, if you want to tear down those things that oppose you... the scars on my legs may never heal. lol.
The Courage : again, yes !!!
I cannot imagine a meek/mild Noora ... she is a force of nature.
Gardens : ok, I'm the meek/mild one.
They are so peaceful... except for the deer and rabbits. They are well fed, also.
... hmmm ... maybe I should move some speakers outside and trigger a few Battle Beast tunes via motion sensor.
(tho... this might piss off Noora. Don't scare the bunnies. ... Plan B? Coyote songs? Wolf howls? Will Ramos warmups?... things to consider)
Tauri, thank you for posting such a warm and humanizing interview.
Noora has a charm that is rare. Forceful, unapologetic, yet always being touched by the little bits humanity that we don't expect in a metal show or crowd. Thank you Noora, for being who you are.
... now, do you have any advise on attaching horns.. standard prosthetic adhesive doesn't work when one still has hair on top.

Great interview! Tauri, you did a better job than a lot of mainstream reporters -- and I say this as someone who has been a radio reporter for about 30 years. Noora is a very thoughtful person and so relatable.
I saw Battle Beast in Mesa, AZ. KICK-ASS SHOW!!! And yes, Noora, I was screaming, "Bastard Son of Odin," with the rest of the audience.

This would have been just after I gave flame shaped sunglasses to all of the members of Battle Beast. They seemed to love them and they all looked great wearing them. Noora especially looked the part of the “Queen Of Fire”😎🔥

As I don't know the band, before watching Tauri's interview, I went looking for information and, on the band's UA-cam channel, I came across the recording of all the shows they are doing on this tour of the USA! And this was explained by vocalist Noora, as a live broadcast strategy, designed and created, during the pandemic, to reach a greater number of fans and followers! Global situation, where many had to reinvent themselves, or managed to realize their dreams of being independent! And I was curious to know why several artists use horns as an accessory to their costumes! And the answer came, through Tauri's question! Self-esteem and empowerment, as well explained by the vocalist, who by the way is a very beautiful woman, and when observing her features, the image of Adele came to mind! Adele's eyes! Tauri's question about the choice of the Blackbriar band is excellent! The record company's perspective on bringing together the two bands, with their different musical genres, in a unique show is interesting, enabling a contrast between gothic and heavy metal! At the same time, it offers the public the chance to meet their favorite bands, in a single show! Excellent opportunity Tauri! You were more relaxed, more confident in contextualizing the topics covered! Likewise, the interviewee made him feel comfortable, with her friendliness, welcome and discernment in answering him! Great interview!! Thank you for bringing another band I didn't know about! Regarding the band Blackbriar, I had the opportunity to watch several of their reactions on the channel and the one that enchanted me the most, both for their reaction and for the beauty of the band's presentation, was with the song Moonflower, which was in collaboration with Marjana Semkina, where they both put on a great performance!
