@@crispycoincidence This school could be WAY better if managed right.
Despite being told that pre-requisites are important and all that, we basically don’t get to choose what we want to learn or what we’re passionate about because “the class is full” THEN they tell us that we SHOULD be working towards something we’re passionate about.
There’s also a clear line dividing the international and local students. I get that international students pay a fee and therefore they get more “privilege” such as excursions and such but why? Just introduce year level excursion which involves both the local and international students not just international students only. This will lead to another problem as the teachers pointed out why the international students only stick to their group of international. It’s because they’re taught that since their English is nowhere near as good, the two groups cannot be friends, let alone talk to one another.

I really like them actually. I must be the only one! They are extremely clever and it is fascinating how a fairly unassuming swamp feeder has taken over our cities. 30 years ago, there were none in the cities. You could go and see them at Taronga zoo! But due to the drought and habitat loss, they had to adapt, or they would have died. It doesn't help that we have so many palm trees, their main nesting places. I like how they have become a part of our cities identities as well. Everywhere else people have pigeons, but a massive dinosaur looking bird is not going to be very forgettable!

Arrived a few weeks ago for my first time ever in Australia, Sydney. It was the first day after I woke up at the hostel and I didn't know what happened. This strange, weird bird eating food out of a garbage bin; I never saw anything like it! Turned out that they're not rare at all, see them now all over the place! Beautiful, I love 'em, so unmistakeably Australian and not even afraid for people!!

A few days later I asked my new boss what he thought about the birds. He hates them! He used to be in jail for several years and they were annoying him everytime when he got freetime in the fresh air, outside. The day he came out a friend wearing a white hat walked behind him, but my boss didn't know that. In his eye corners he thought he recognized just another bin chicken and he hitted him hard - turned out to be his friends hat actually. (great story tho, lol)
