Yes, i was surprised how much they have refined an already great wing in the Aura. It’s just gods at almost everything. The only thing that it does not have is the stiff leading edge and strut of the Aura X. Som this is an affordable version of the Aura X. And that says a lot! Have you or can you try it?
Nice review and probably a very good wing, however to me the pricing of almost 1000 Euro for 4m seems way over the top. Last year after quite a long struggle with myself I bought a brand new 8m (yes, eight!) Strike Cwc for 999 Euro on discount…
Thank you. Yes, prices for wings in general has gone up up last years. This wing is priced more or less like other wings in this size. That’s where we are at now with regular wings. Don’t mention the wings with a frame of Aluula. They are over 2000€. Everything has jumped up in price since the Covid hickup!
Hi Bart, good question. I would prefer the Aura because it is very easy to handle, lighter than the VVing and has a little different shape that makes it just that little easier to handle. VVing II is quite heavy already in 5,5 as was the size I had earlier. Then I had a 6 Aura and that was the better wing. Then I tested V3 and that one is very powerful but tricky to pump with. Now with the Aura 2 they have improved an already good wing a little more. Hope this helps! Stay safe! 🤙

What is the best wing for light winds on inland waters (gusty). A Vayu Aura or VVing 6m? Which one do you recommend?
