I installed a vape ignition/charging system in my xs1b. It started right up and ran great. A few days later, I went to kick it, and yeah, it kicked back hard. I was limping for days. The vape has dip switches on its control box, so I flipped a couple of them and it retarded the initial timing down to 4 degrees, while keeping the advance the same. It starts much better and no kick back since. But I feel your pain 😊
i got one of these bikes and i do have to say the engine is a peace of junk im going to give it one more try to get it to spark and run if not i dont know what i will do with it probably take it to a motorcycle junk yard i have already wasted a bunch of time cleaning out the carburetors fixing the starter and spent money on the battery
