I found out thd real purpose of life and death when I committed to the Baha'i Faith in 2017. I am so grateful because I had been mourning my Dad for 19 years. Since then, I have been able to deal with death as a progression mother finality.
I was looking through some of the comments and was so heartbroken with the attempt of some individuals to poison the mind of people against `Abdul-Baha. I was going to share how `Abdu'l-Baha loved all and serve them with humility and selflessness, sacrificing his health, wealth and comfort, but it came to my mind to share only what he told the Baha'is to do. He said "In every instance let the friends be considerate and infinitely kind. Let them never be defeated by the malice of the people, by their aggression and their hate, no matter how intense. If others hurl their darts against you, offer them milk and honey in return; if they poison your lives, sweeten their souls; if they injure you, teach them how to be comforted; if they inflict a wound upon you, be a balm to their sores; if they sting you, hold to their lips a refreshing cup." (Abdu'l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu'l-Baha, p. 24)
the bahai faith is the best choice for the problems of mankind; this faith is not a fanatic like any other relijion, respect all of then,teaches the unity of god,the unity of all spiritual teachers, the man and woman are equal the free investigación of true,the porpouse of this teachings is unity of man,there goals are the peace of all nations...

Two things that perplex me about the Bahai view of the afterlife. Baha'ullah says it is not allowed to know everything about it. And he goes on to say that, after death, the soul progresses until it meets God. . . . Does that mean that everybody goes to heaven in Bahai?
The soul will have "existance" and will continue to evolve through the mercy of God, etc., however "heaven" is a term of a condition of spiritual evolution towards God, as I understand it! On earth we have "conditions of existance". Happiness is "heavenly" which the opposite it "hell". Heaven is nearness to God whereas Hell is merely to be far from God and His Will, as I see it.
