Same I was so exited then I saw the black and yellow gear
i remember getting up very early every morning that season (first 3 rounds) ready to root for kenny. This havent gotten easier to watch still get the same "lost" feeling when watching this after, like i did that morning, you just instantly knew something was very very wrong.
but till this day im still rooting for ya #94 deserves so much respect for even planting your ass on a bike again! LFG 2022 good old zuki kenny

This was when the old KR94 died.
Look for him to do very well, maybe even win a title in 2021. He was winning again last year. Old Kenny ain’t dead, it’s just taken several years to get back from the two horrific arm injuries.
Ken's crash really took all excitement out of this race after he crashed the race was just dead, and boring like idk
I was at this race. As soon as he walked off. We all left. I was so bummed out. My stomach still turns wactching this again
I was like cockiness and just being so confident is a lot different. Change the sport my ass. He can't even finish a SX season without getting hurt.
@@letsplayhardball4620 I agree bu this crash was a real eye opener to what can happen at the speed those guys are going it can happen in a blink of an eye. And Ken's crash is a miracle he shouldn't be racing he shouldn't even have his arm but he's a fighter and he's back and in position to win his first sx title.
@@vincentgonce9080 maybe before 2010 its a miracle but beyond 2010 not really a miracle. Technology nowadays are more advance than ever and there are a lot worst, its just that Ken has honda to pay for the procedures and he gets the best doctors for the treatment and yes he also broadcast his journey to recovery through different social media platforms.
@@letsplayhardball4620 its still a miracle buddy his crash was so bad if that happened to the the average rider they prolly wouldnt have a arm Roczen luckily had enough money to pay for 11 surgeries most people would give up but ken is a fighter. His crash wasn't normal yes technology has improved but he STILL almost lost the arm. It's a miracle

@@eliteghost0001 2 rounds is not annihilating and Dungey just a mistake away from Ken to overtake, round 3 shows the more he gets pressured the easy he panics. Dungey was just 4 or 5 seconds ahead but by simply applying pressure to Ken, Dungey actually had broken Ken and resulted into a crash.

Ken was at his peak before this crash. I think he still has a strong chance of winning a title, but he would have swept quite a few years if it wasn't for this incident.
known for early rounds winner. There is a reason why it haven't won an SX Championsip. Mentally weak and never raced smart, two must have of a Champions mindset.

watching this back now all i can think is what if Roczen would have just taken a 3rd on that night? How many championships would he have by now? i would have to guess at least 2-3

Way back in 2017 before 1080p was invented.
I was there, and that race man... KROC hit so hard. Glad I was able to go when it was my 3rd Supercross that I attended.
finally i’ve been asking forever
re-watching the races is cool but a bit sad sometimes... remember at the time thinking the tracks were becoming more technical to try and slow down the racers (remember also they switched from laps to time+1 lap?) but the competition was so fierce that riders just didnt slow down.

You can’t watch any Supercross on UA-cam because Feld blocks it right, yet not only do they constantly play the replay of this fucking crash while Roczen sits on line waiting for races to start they make this race available, there a joke
