I just want to thank you. My 11 year old daughter has the same exact hair type as you. I came across your videos and in 2 weeks she and I have both seen a difference in her hair. We've discovered that twisting her hair every single night is key thanks to you. Never had a problem with moisturization it was keeping those ends from getting tangled. At night we're both like uhhhhhh but in the morning we're like yassss girl. So thanks again. Your channel will be the only one I refer to when it's concerning her hair.

Tell these people our 4C hair is beautiful. I get so many compliments on my hair and people with loser textures say their hair cannot hold styles like twists or a twist out like my hair can.

It's true. I'm a 3C and my hair looks ate up as all hell in a twist out. I can slay a wash and go but a twist out? Nope, I just have to stay in my lane!

schnauzer mom I hate how true this is. like I really want to do braid outs and twist outs but they just look bad. and don't even get me started on my puffs( disaster)

The only way I've found to do a braid out is two French braids on wet hair. Anything else and it's like watching the Titanic hit the iceberg!

I am a 4c girl and thanks to your tips and some research I am finally caring for my hair properly. I cannot wait to try this twist out. My favorite tip from this video was moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. My hair use to break so badly because it was desert dry. I love using the TGIN products (although I haven't tried the twist and define cream), coconut oil, Shea butter, and avocado oil. My hair is thriving now that I have figured out how to keep it moisturized. Thanks for all your advice.

That Twistout should be on the shelves honey! So much definition! I use my honey child type 4 hair cream, just to moisturize. I don't really style my hair. Keep it in a protective state. Maybe that's why my hair is growing so fast after my transition. Again, you did that!

After 4 yrs of being natural, I was thinking about perming my hair again. Then I found your videos. I feel inspired once again. My hair is super thick & maybe a 6c lol & I don't do it right all the time, which makes it worse. Even when I had perms my stylist would say my hair is different. Extra thick & extra coarse. My mom & grandmother have the same hair type. It's almost depressing, considering how the world judges us by our hair. My man doesn't fully understand the natural hair journey & he's annoying about it sometimes. It shouldn't be that serious but it seems that it is. With much prayer, I've decided to push forward on my journey.

I love your results!!!! I really liked flat twist out when my hair was longer. It was less time-consuming than regular twists, it tamed my frizzy roots lol and I did not have to fluff or separate after unraveling them :-) My favorite ingredients for a bomb twist-out are aloe vera gelly (anti-frizz and definition) and argan oil (super shine). Paired with a good leave-in like Shea Moisture JBCO leave-in (for moisture of course!), they can work wonders :-)

I was frustrated with the dryness.

Purchased a head massage spider, some jojoba oil, the waterproof electric massager and some virgin hair fertilizer. Because of YOU! Now this? Your hair looks so juicy and defined. (goes to get wallet) *sigh

Educated Melanin Thank you for the info. I am trying so hard to get a staple routine. I am a recovering product junkie. So I need things that work.

I have type 4 low porosity hair so to get the best results I use a couple of products in rotation. Here are my staples:
    DIY Shea Butter Mix
    Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream
    TGIN Twist and Define Cream
Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel (looking into doing a DIY flax seed gel)
Shea Moisture Curl Enhancer Smoothie and Curl Souffle mixed together
Jamaican Black Castor Oil for my ends
I find that these product really provide the definition and hold I need for my hair and it leaves my hair moisturized. When I use any one of these products, my twist outs and braids outs last for a week. Also, I just took out a set of mini twist (used TGIN Twist and Define Cream) I had in my hair for over two weeks and my hair was not tangled or matted at all. I'm going to look into TGIN products so far my hair loves it.

Thank you for what you do.
I look at other natural hair channels and their hair always looks limp. I'm like - my hair ain't like that. It defies gravity, even when wet, thinking it's a super hero!
I'm watching all your videos. I'm taking notes. Thank you for keeping it SUPER DAMN SIMPLE. You're awesome. Keep up the good work.

Okay Nappyfu, I'm back. I was in church 24 hrs. (just kidding), lol! My comp. is running slow and I have to get it checked out. I did pray for you still, this morning actually.
The question that I have is have you ever used Qhemet biologic burdock root cream or Obia's products. I can't remember if I ever asked you about Qhemet at all. Ghana goddess uses both, but I think my hair is def. closer to your texture than hers. I currently have no fav's b/c I have not found my "holy grail" yet. Although, I do like JBCO, but that's not a moisturizer. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Oh NappyFu, I heard that Aloe Vera gel closes down the cuticle and LP hair's cuticles are already closed down, so would it not be wise to use aloe vera? Your hair looks moisturized though. Is the green tea powder for the prevention of hair shed? That's what I heard too. I really need to read about it myself.

marian B thank you hun. I've used obia a few years ago. I liked thier shampoo bar.

marian B lp cuticles are lowered a bit more then hp. our cuticle is never really "closed" it lowered. I forgot to mention I add water to my aloe Vera to pH balance it. A pH balanced product will gv good results. I'm not sure if it lowers my cuticle more I just know it gives my moisture that last. the green tea does aid in hair loss prevention.
