tyfyghtr Vanguard Its a nice list, at the moment its simply a matter of waiting to see when we’ll get another caller that functions from anywhere or another hand gain call target that is less either costly or restricted on where it needs to be called from. Honestly I’ve been a fan of using Coolgal and Jeffrey over dindrane in such a build but I’m also running a more battle phase friendly build without Coel. Coel is amazing though, but frankly its a solid build, I’m just not as heavy on Providence Angel and only really use it as a tech. Though its tactic is great and I adore using it alongside Horsa. Having Eagles and Horsa’s on the field after having a huge hand and just dumping it all from hand to RC for the massive Power Gain alongside Providence’s skill on a Crit Stand Ultima is incredible.
@@JunkStarDuelist1993 Yeah, I'm brainstorming a build right now that focuses on the mid battle calling shenanigans. This list is obviously just a spam call, make eagles big, deck thin like crazy and check triggers/Ultima. But it's a blast to play. I'd love to make room for Jeffrey, but Dindrane being able to counter charge is what got her in this list. Especially with the heavy focus on Providential Angel. I want to make Brambent work and so that's what I think I'm going to adapt this list to. Coel is definitely getting dropped in that list. Like you said, he's amazing, but doesn't do anything to pump out the aggression. They just make it tricky on us with the split of cards that work only from hand and then others only from deck. I've got my fingers crossed for Liberator Garmore making a comeback, but that'll also get tricky with all the Liberator specific callers. Honestly, I'd be happy with more cards that trigger when placed by effect, so that way things like Sagramore can trigger more stuff rather than just Dindrane/Kinarius in this build. Could hopefully mix the 2 call types a little better that way, but we'll just have to see what happens when we get Gurguit!
tyfyghtr Vanguard Coel still does great but in a battle phase based he always has that danger of not being fully thinned out when you needed him too yet. Wanting Dindrane for the CC is fine honestly, I just usually don’t restrict myself to her so heavily since Brambent, SpearX and Glorious Reigning basically require no counterblast beyond the first, and that gets refunded anyway. Horsa was a huge help to not have to solely rely on eagle and goodness if they are ever paired together. Jeffrey was also more of my own choice as I’m running Gold Garnish Lion over Theodora since, stride consistency is always nice. There’s a ton of options but I can say this, for call starting units at grade 2, i’ve found mixing only a couple copies of the different ones works nicely so that you don’t burn yourself out on a specific cost. If I had to discard 4 cards in a game cause I had to Kinarius that much I’d sweat lol. Well Fahmgal was more or less always fine at 4 so long as you could send him back to the deck and well, looks at Brambent, Glorious and either Improve Falcon or Lavinia. Hope you have fun making the build, been using GP since Slash of the Silver Wolf and Breaker of Limits so its nice to see a good video like this.
I tend to use Spear-X's superior stride skill quite a bit, so that's why I lean on Dindrane quite a bit and didn't really use any stride fodder either. For my Brambent build that might change though. Kinarius discard cost I just saw as a way to help get me to Providential Angel faster. Having Horsa so you don't live or die based on the Eagle as much is a great idea though. Might have to try and squeeze him into that build haha. Thanks a bunch, and same! TD05 was my first VG product I got waaay back in 2012! That's probably why I've got such a soft spot for Garmore haha.
I’ve been waiting for someone to bring this up for a while. A little less hand gain for my taste. But overall well done, people really forget these days that yknow, Gp’s top call game can be insane.
Nice 1st video man, not a common deck you find on UA-cam these days, with the whole Luard situation, so a welcome sight in the Vanguard Community, a fun deck! Keep up the good work! Side Note: Only 15 cards in GZone
Thanks a bunch! I appreciate it! Yeah, that's all my friends and local community have been on about is Luard. Almost thought about scrapping doing this profile for a second cause it all happened as/after I recorded it haha. Huh. I guess you're right. I gave a 4th Garmore to a friend right before quarantine started and I guess I never replaced it in my G-Zone or noticed!
Really great video man im glad to see people talking about gold paladin it's a deck I have been wanting to build so this definitely gets me excited to build it just waiting on the new Gurguit it will be interesting
Thanks a bunch! I hope you're able to give this deck a try. It's a ton of fun to play. I'm really excited to see what Gurguit brings to the table too. Also got my fingers crossed for more Garmore stuff obviously haha
Thanks a ton! This is probably one of my favorite rogue decks to play, just because of how unexpected it is and it'll just steal a game out of no where
@@tyfyghtrTCG It’s very fun when your able to build a deck like this, not Tier 1 in the format but so unexpected that very little people know how to properly counter and it’s actually really good. My main reason I love premium over standard.
If you're interested, I'd love to see how the new Gurguit could work but more focused on the battle phase with how much even the standard deck was able to call during the battle phase
Just a heads up, Quintet Wall + Cloudwing destroys rush. Also have you considered a deck where the entire point is to chain calls multiple times on a Glorious Reigning turn to gain multiple attacks while making Cloudwing huge?
Oh yeah, QWs with Eagle gets nutty. I had played the deck with Holy Mage, Irena but I missed the Falcon. Shuffling triggers back into the deck when you've already thinned it so much just felt too good haha. I'm actually brewing up a deck right now that is that same idea with Brambent Dragon that I'm hoping to test this weekend. I feel like it could end up being good, or at least fun! Might have that end up on the channel if it goes well!
Could you please do an updated deck profile of this? Also, do you think that adding Percival and Aglovale in exchange for Full Cavalier and Providential angel is a good idea? I'm also thinking about potentially swapping out Dindraine for the V series Josephus (Once he finally arrives in english). What do you think?
Have you ever considered using pwyll instead of kanarius? I’ve tested it and it was pretty good because of the chains it can create on top of extra calls.
I love this deck and even now with the new Josephus reveal dindrane is still better in this Deck I say because when she un flips she becomes a 10 booster which is nice behind a bird
I always enjoy weird decks that catch people off guard and this looks great! What are your thoughts of it during the current meta??? Also with the release of new things, is there anything you'd change nowadays??
Current meta, this is a solid meme deck that's a ton of fun and can steal a win here and there. As far as new options, Prominence Glare is just a straight improvement of Garmore, especially if not focusing on the Garmore name. Other than that, there's a couple oD cards that have my interest, but the build will probably change more with those
No, you're right. Someone else mentioned it to me too. I gave someone a Garmore from the G-Zone before all the quarantine stuff, and I just don't think I ever replaced it. The extra space can honestly be anything.
Potentially. I haven't come back to this deck yet, but it's on my list to do. Off the top of my head I don't think there's much though, maybe the new Percival? But I think he's better in a Liberator build
Main thing is Percival for Sagramore, otherwise not much else really helps the way this deck wants to play. Could probably drop an Angel or 2 to make room for Aglovales so that you have a target for Percival too.
I've actually come back to the deck and played around with it in the last 6 months or so. Still really fun, but not too much has changed, so depending on how it shapes up I might post an update
Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed the video.
