He could clear every lobby himself, if he played "smart" he's literally wiping squads rushing them as a solo. I mostly plsy northernredge and still sometimes I get lost on how to get down from the 2nd floor of the hotel building.
The first thing is to know the map obviously.
But the second part is that, the attacker has an advantage. For example you have a 80ping and the enemy has the same. And u see the enemy and start shooting. It takes 80mil sec for the server to receive that information from you, then 80 to deliver it to the enemy. So you'll have 160mil sec advantage. Pro CS GO player have reaction time less then 100mil sec, so 160 is a lot of time.
Remember it, attack gives an advantage.
