Thank you Father Matthew I learned so much in this video. Always wondering what was done to prepare for Mass you explained it wonderfully of the tasks to get ready. God bless you Father Matthew and all the Friar's at Ewtn and the Poor Clare Sisters. Father Matthew your sermons at Mass I wanted you to know I do get so much from them that help me. Thank you.
Thank you so very much for your presentation Father Mathew. We learned all that you showed us in school many many years ago but wonderful to have a review. Thank you and all the friars for everything you do for us. May God bless you always.
I needed to see this video. I went to deliver Communion to the Catholic Patients at the nearby Hospital and was asked by a Patient about the Communion. She didn't want to take it unless she knew how it was made. Then she only wanted a piece of the Communion. I told her it was made with flour and water. And we could start with the prayers than I would break it in half for her. She kept saying I just want to taste it. So I knew that she should not receive it. And at the end when she refused to say some prayers for her with me, she asked me if I was a Priest. I told her that I was too short. And left for the next patient.
Can you make a video showing us step by step how to launder the Altar linens? There are different sets of directions online. It would be great to see how you do it. Thank you.
Thank you fr. Mathew for your elaboration about the sacristy. I take this opportunity to convey my wishes and congratulations to those won in the election in your community. Fr. Leonard becoming the superior and all counsellors including bro. John. I will continue to pray for all of you mfva community and the ewtn media personnel. Thank you and good morning from Tamilnadu india
This is new--I have never seen this before-Fr. Matthew, thanks for showing me the inside of the friary-he's like my tour guide of the friary--thanks fr. Matthew for showing me this
I have never seen the chalice with the friars names on them-I have never seen the mass chapel at Annunciation Friary-this is so new to me--what an excellent experience that I had enjoying Fr. Matthew showing me everything inside the friary
Fr. Matthew Mary Bartow, I was enlightened by the video that was shown to me I have learned that most friaries are different than yours--in have learned about the history of some of the friaries and the people that lived in them There's a church in Philadelphia called the Church Brew Works in Philadelphia which was a Catholic Church and it closed in 1993 It's now a brewery
Also have a question about the friary sacrasty--do you put seasonal linens on the altar at the friary chapel-how often do you put votive candles and do you out two of them on each side How often do you burn votive candles at the friary chapel do you burn votive candles at the ewtn chapel as well This video was very enlightening to me on how the mass actually works How often do you clean the friary chapel and change the linens on the friary Altar
if you have already done a video could you post the link, if not could you show the vesting (dressing) for mass. what each garment means the rope around the waist and the special knots used.
I wondered how that all worked. Thanks. I have a question about daily mass that is streamed live from EWTN. During the receiving of the Eucharist, there is usually one or two women whom always get served last and always from a separate and smaller chalice. What is the purpose of that? Thank you.
I believe it's because they need a gluten -free host. All other hosts are made of wheat, but if you have Celiac, consuming wheat products will cause a lot of severe medical issues.
Thank you Fr. Matthew for showing the friars duties🙏🏻
