Surprise!! Jayla now has prescription glasses!!! Doesn’t she look so cute?!?! She also turned 10 may 15th, so I believe this will be the last year that I style her hair in ponytails.... I don’t see many 11 year olds rocking ponytails these days. What do you think? Is there an age restriction for ponytails? Let me know!!

11 is a difficult age for hair that’s the age of most middle school girls so you don’t want them to look to babyish but you don’t want them to look to grown either.

Yes that’s so true! All of the little girls in her class now mostly have straight hair so she’s been bugging me for straight hair for quite a bit 😩

That’s the thing she doesn’t want ponytails as much anymore 😩 most of the black girls in her class have straight hair so that’s what she wants but mommas not doing that yet.
LadyJustice I wanted to agree with Rhonda Jones, but if she doesn't want ponytails anymore that changes the case. How about a bun (or several buns)? Personally I love ponytails and I have some more years to go, since my girl is only 7. Although she also tends to wash'n'go more over. I just try to do as much as she whishes, for her to keep loving her hair. Only thing I don't do is straighten it, but that is just me. Oh and looove the specs!
