Bet size is irrelevant. Play the cards not your money. Should have hit
Why don’t do the Rodney on 12 😂
They brought the closer! A lot of Greg specials
Hit the 12, there were lots of 10s that also came out prior to that hand. Maybe do some light card counting to decide hit/no hit. Short of any counting it slightly slightly leans hit. Also your bet size is irrelevant, whatever is mathematically EV+ is what you should do. Also, when you have double/split opportunities you also consider bet size, again it should just be what is the EV+ move and run with that.
Either always hit 12....or never hit 12....don't flip flop.
7:29 this is a lesson you should play the book regardless of how much you bet
I like the positive attitude! I’m usually one to stay and play it safe (even when others at the table think I’m crazy) so I would have probably done the same on the 12 vs. 2. I’m 19 and my first time playing blackjack in a casino was last year on the MSC Meraviglia. I bet real small but had fun and learned. Just recently I played again in the Azores and won a bit which was exciting!
I carry a basic strategy card in my wallet, it says to hit a 12 against a dealer's 12, but I understand the hesitation. I had someone get pissed at me once for hitting my 12 against the dealer's 12, he got a little shitty about it, saying I killed the table, but he left a few hands later. I don't call two's a bust card, they are more like a wild card...lol
12 is a hit....by the smallest statistical advantage....which means you're going to lose a lot of the time.
You just need to play consistently.
3 dealers bjs in a row is usually how my sessions play out
for me, it's justifying my play to other players at the table, I really shouldn't have to explain a thing to them, I'm positive I know what I'm doing when I play, I don't ask for advice and don't give it, or shake my head, scowl, complain about others
Dealer got 3 black jack in a roll at the end lol, thats crazy.
If you’re gonna hit a 12 you should just double down #rodney
People just play scared bc 10s always seem to pop out. But it’s a hit. You would’ve won big.
I stay on the 12 vs 2. People always tell me “you should hit” after I lose the hand and then the next one I hit, I bust. Lol 🤣🤷🏻♀️
Just stay consistent on whatever you do. I never hit 12 on a 2. I know that 10s coming lol
Longer vids Brandon!!
If you’re not hitting 12 vs 2, might as well stay on 16 vs 7 😂
It was rough session Brandon but you still did good👍the beginning with betting on all those boxes I wouldn't have done but I'm glad it worked out for you
you changed your mind on the 12 vs 2 not because it was in your favor but because of how much money you had on the table and that is bad for business. having a strategy doesn't mean you win all the time but on avg. it profitable and you folded when you should have taken a hit. Never go against a your rules unless you have a guarantee or better odds in your favor.
If you say Michael Jordan and hit a 2 vs a 3 why would you not hit 2vs 2 then
the daily lesson again.
simple BJ strategy - why dont you folow it ?
Hit: When you have a hand value of 12 and the dealer shows a 2, the recommended move according to basic strategy is to hit.
Explanation:
Dealer's Upcard: The dealer's upcard of 2 is considered a weak card, but not as weak as 4, 5, or 6, where the dealer has a higher chance of busting.
Hand Value: A hand value of 12 is quite low, and hitting increases your chances of improving your hand to something that can potentially win. While there is a risk of busting (drawing a 10-value card), the overall probabilities suggest that hitting gives you a better chance in the long run than standing.
this is the book.
now my prespective:
draw ! dont be afraid of the 10 !
why ?
if you stay - what are the chances dealer gets two tens ??
if you hit and stay alive - you took away a small card from dealer that may help him beat you.
bet size should never matter in your decision making.....the right decison is the right decision
Dealer is shocking!!! She is trying to deal ultra fast but missed on every hand. Cards going everywhere. I could not sit at a table with someone dealing like that.
Your betting is not too good either in this video.🙁
Always hit 12 vs. 12 and do it with gusto!!! Don't thinking about and don't look back. 😊
3 dealer bjs in a row hurts
I started hitting my 12s vs 2s a couple of years ago. You win some and you lose some. That's blackjack. When you play big you have to prepare yourself to make those decisions and never change your style regardless of the bet size.
Gotta hit the 12 against the 2. Every time!
Always Dubble ,on 12
Always hit 12 on the 2 don’t be scared of the betsize
I'm going on the Seashore in July, I will play some blackjack, however I don't have the means to play crazy like you play sir, Good luck with all that!
What day
What abt the straight flush with different suites?playing in online seems much better
Oof. Maybe play two
Hands when the dealer starts getting hot?
at the end the count was 6, right?
Happy Father's day!
Thought for a second u were going to DD on the 12 vs 2 up ;) Unless u are counting cards, it's a hit in my book.
Wen u playing dealer head up sometime u got take chances different wen people at table
I would hit the 12 on the 2. Always.
15 mins or so seems just fine to me.
July 14th, My Birthday
love to meet you if you are on the cruise!
What would I have to pay to get some decks of cards from them? my local casino uses that brand of cards but i can't get them, but i want them for home games and stuff haha.
It’s amazing 😍🎰
Idk for me it always works when I bend every single blackjack rule , at the end of the day it's called gambling and that's what we go to the casino for so you're not wrong you played how u wanted to play it
Staying 12 on 2, you're hoping for two 10s to bust. That works out to a 9% chance (30%^2). Better taking the 70% chance you won't bust from one non-10.
Fun videos though, cool seeing the action.
Always hit 12 on a 2...but good run
Surrenders to change up the cards but continues to play 1 box and not open up another box.. 🙃
Me screaming hit on the 12. Stay consistent. Plus the cards were going your way. Another awesome video. Thanks
You should’ve hit the 12 since the prior hand you and the dealer both had all face cards.
I’d take a card on a 12.. against a 2 and assume.. you’ll get a 9 or lower>
Basic rule, when both of you have 2, hit it! You have been hitting your 12, why suddenly change your strategy? Anyway, Goodluck!
4/13 could be a ten, most likely combination that the dealer has a ten, but the next card is more likely to be anything but a ten.
Math seems to say to hit, but mentally I would have stayed.
Always hit 12 no matter what. Your chances of busting are low and you can be beat by the dealer with any hand they have to stay on.
always hit.
Aww man sucks u lost that 600 bet but that streak u had was fireeee... And for me i always hit on a 12 cos of u and always get a 8 or 9 so hit for me 🤣
I would have hit against the 2. I see your conundrum, but..... Scared money loses more money. This is just my point of view.... I think you play just fine!
12 verse dealer 2.. I've been realizing I win more when I hit.
It was going so good but the end was soooo bad 😢
Those automatic shufflers are a horror show ya can't beat it I won't play against it I only like the old way with a normal shoe
I always hit a two against a two or three.
Another great video 😁 have a great night he got 3 blackjacks in a row that killed you
2 is a dealers ace. I hit a 12 against a 2 but not 3,4,5,6
Book says hit on 12 vs 2
I'm with you: if it's not working then don't do it.
Enjoy and subscribed to all of your, can even sit through three card "slot" play. Here is the answer to if you should hit a hard 12 against a dealers 2, yes. Only and it sure isn't the Rodney "rule" to double. Yes there are 4 scare cards that will bust you, the 10 J Q and King. There is however 5 cards the 5 6 7 8 9 that will get you to 17 or better. The other 4, Ace, 2 3 and 4 will require you to hit again. So yes you always hit 12 when the dealer has either a 2 or 3. And you never double a hard 9 against a dealers 2 like you did. But overall nice job
The dealer gets 3 blackjacks in a row, you need to change it up
can't make a decision based on the size of the bet ;)
Hit the twelve vs the two. The chance of the 22 bust is less than 15%. Standing loses your edge on the hand
12 vs 12 is 50-50
Always play consistently
this BJ table is insanely big, I didnt realize from your other vids😯
5 to 1 on the Queens, she gave you even money...
Dealer 12 is stronger than your 12.
No tip? Jezz
Please answer! There’s no way you make money on dream pairs in the long run, do you? Why play them? I know you say “it’s part of the game” but getting paid 5 to 1 for same number when there is 13 numbers seems like highway robbery.
Constancy
I only hit my 12 against a dealer's duce if no one else on the table can take a card. When playing head's up, I stand on the 12.
12v2…..hit, unless gut says no….you are very right about the cards: eventually making up for situation with good playing (“again, this doesn’t happen..”)
All the BJ at the end and a few more loses took it all away 😢 ugh 😩
You talk like radio , toooooo much
I mean… I did just retire from 31 years on the radio what do you expect 🤣
That was disgusting .
You're blackjack play is awful
🤣
wasting time rubbish
