- Shadai Stallion Station in Hokkaido, Japan is home to some of the best thoroughbred stallions in the world.
World-renowned stallions such as Orfevre (2013 & 2011 Arima Kinen | 2012 Takarazuka Kinen | 2011 Kikuka Sho | 2011 Tokyo Yushun | 2011 Satsuki Sho), Lord Kanaloa, Harbinger, Heart's Cry, Kitasan Black, Rulership, New Year's Day, Duramente, Novellist, Logotype, Satono Diamond, Epiphaneia and Kizuna reside at Japan's most prominent breeding facility.
Japan's Queen of the Turf, Almond Eye, is sired by Lord Kanaloa, while globetrotting mare Deirdre is a daughter of Harbinger.
Leaving behind a legacy that will live on for years, the late, great Deep Impact and King Kamehameha will always be remembered at Shadai Stallion Station.

I'm glad to find and watch this video! In Japan,after the retirement of Almond Eye(from Lord Kanaloa), there are two starhorses from Epiphaneia, Efforia and Daring Tact.Of course Deep Impact and King Kamehameha still have great influence, however, I'm sure we'll soon have a revolution by new sires in Japanese horses' pedigrees.

NO STALLION ever transformed and turned around an entire country's breeding system the way Sunday Silence did in Japan. Almost any direction you go in among any of Japan's elite sires over the past 3 decades, all roads eventually lead back to Sunday Silence. No one individual sire has ever laid claim to that in America or Europe.
Northern Dance was pretty influential too! If they didn't come from Sunday Silence, they came from Northern Dancer. Deep Impact is still carrying the Sunday Silence line today
Today all roads in Thoroughbred horses lead to Pharlaris. Read up on him.
American breeders didn't understand the value of this horse, so no one bought it. American breeders made fun of Zenya Yoshida who bought the Sunday Silence at the time.
American breeders said: "Look, the Japanese bought a useless horse"
