Btw, all of them where incredible musicians. Really good! If I remember correctly, The Ramones wanted to play like them, but couldn´t - and instead created some truly iconic punk rock. "1,2,3,4". I guess that is a lot like life.

It's kind of funny to see it now in the context of there was this huge kind of fat in the early seventies with David Bowie leading the way of doing glam-rock😮 that in my mind lead in the early 1980s into the over-the-top metal hair bands. It's just an evolution of if you're on stage being a rockstar back then you better stand out. It's not really much about the other politics of it. But anyway, your reactions are always great cuz you just look at it and see what's cool about it and call that out. Lovett. You heard this on the radio day in and day out and day in and day out. And I say this as a musician, it really is a fantastic song, it's got that early 70s wall-of-sound density to it and it's got synthesizers to reinforce their hard-rocking and yeah they're still trying to Glam it out to some degree but man it is just one of those pop hits that will get inside your head and never leave.
