Host Mick Gillispie is a graduate of the University of Alabama. His first Tailgate radio show was on 90.7 WVUA radio in 1998 the Bama campus radio station. Everyone has their day in the sun eventually. I'm not worried at all. I swear 2 weeks ago the carolina panthers fan base was telling me Andy Dalton was god and bryce young was cheeks yeah look at them today. Bama was sleeping big time out of 10 games bama beats vandy 9 of them.
We are soft. Knew it would be exposed . Never thought Vandy would be the first team to outlast us. Auburn can definitely beat us with their recievers and running game.
Obvious now Georgia shot themselves in the foot more than Bama put it on them.
1st off i say we stop deferring the ball till halftime and front our D a 7 or 3 point lead instead of immediately being down in games also last week beck dropped back 50 times we only had like 2 sacks we don't have any guys that disrupt stuff up front just warch our pass rush its just a bull rush with no swim moves or bending the edge
the playing field has even out throughout the country u gotta have difference makers up front...... Anyways i will be @ the South Carolina game and awesome to see Coker lol dudes a legend 👍

When there’s 2:30 left with all timeouts and your adrenaline is amped and you still can’t get off the field & give the ball back to your offense that is NOT a “hangover” Gillespie. You obviously don’t know what the term means. Their defense was lost & showed no signs of figuring it out.
This was no coincidence. Vanderbilt dominated Alabama in the trenches for 60 minutes.
Worst loss in program history! There will be more losses. I knew it was coming but figured it would be the other team in Tennessee lol

guess the team never enters the gym anymore, Coach Saban has always believed in a sound body and mind and had several coaches that got the team physically ready in mind and body....
If you were a running back on the team. I would be severely pissed off that you don’t get played. You need to get. Does Alabama have a set when they run the formation action power the ball down the field? Gonna run these soft pretty little pass plays all the time?
You call us a hangover game, but I’m telling you right now South Carolina will whip Bamba‘s ass if they don’t pull their head out of their ass. They have no running game whatsoever besides the quarterback. The offensive line cannot and I stated emphatically cannot run block. To be that big to be that run blocking is despicable and atrocious and ridiculous.
We'll see those plays Vandy used...right out of the gate...hopefully we're ready & make USC-e regret trying to copy them.

Rat poison rat poison rat poison big learning experience for kalen and his coaching staff sometimes you have to hit rock bottom be humbled dust your self off move forward and to tell your self and the team to never experience this type of feeling again preparation and staying 100 percent focus for each game for the rest of the season is a must this loss was a come to Jesus true wake up call kalen will now see and feel how much alabama football means to this state

How can you be so smart offensively and defensively and not learn how to make changes at halftime?? Run blitzes do something. Of course your defensive bags can’t cover a flag football team.

Bama would’ve had a very physical defense. Literally 6 quarters in a row Bama has had its ass handed to them.
Jake always has the level head. I loved when he played.
He was in a similar situation & still managed to win a National Championship...time will tell
It wasn't a hangover game. Vandy ran a triple option concept offense and it takes disciplined assignment football and we diddo that because it's hard to teach that in 1 week. Defensive line weak anyway which has been true all year. No glasseaters.

what defense, they stopped georgia in the first half then gave them the field in the second half and the coach changed nothing during the game, we need a proven defensive coordinator like maybe will muschamp, even Land Kiffin knows about defense after working under the goat....
If you just take away 2 plays where that fluky pick 6 and that blind side hit fumble, we will be sitting here taking about bama wining by 2TD. Let’s not overreact just yet!

just last week you were bragging about our new coach and how he is different than coach saban, yes you are correct, he doesnt know what defense means, when was the last time a team got over 40 on alabama, it was in 2022 against tennessee but tennessee still lost, as I said before on here, when the new coach proves something then i will be in his corner but he hasnt shown us much so far, he may be a players coach because you seldom see him yelling but a little yelling is good for the soul and the team, your attitude by jumping on the bandwagon and saying you like him more than coach saban is blasfemy ........losing to vanderbilt is a really bad sign of what is to come, you should have realized that against georgia when they came all the way back in the second half, yes you have your opinion and I have mine but mine is backed up by six national championships and yourss is backed by one half of a game.....

Deboer living up to a soft nature and whatever everyone was worried about when he came from the West Coast. This team needs to have its ass kicked. Tackling someone and standing over them and talking crap while you’re losing the football game. Utter BS. Problem is you can’t discipline these players anymore. They’re a bunch of Primadonna and they’ll just redshirts sit out and go play somewhere else. Maybe some sprints every day and practice to start out practice and get their freaking attention. Every time you screw up, you do 50 to 100 push-ups. If you can’t be smart, you’re gonna be strong.
This offensive line coach needs to kick the offensive line in the ass with both feet and tell them man up, learned to freaking run block and run the damn ball!!

scoring 35 points with less than 18 minutes possession is amazing. the d system is a disaster simplify & improve. better to lose early then late. stop crying support the team.
I will ALWAYS support my Crimson Tide, but this was an epic meltdown!! Vandy was ready, BAMA was NOT!! Jake was 💯% correct in what he said.

one man show, Milroe thru the air milroe run around the end, waiting to see him catch his own pass, we have great running backs but if their are no plays scripted for them how can they get better, sorry but why not give a second string a chance, he can throw the ball pretty good and then use our runing backs, but all you coaches want is to pad the jumped on the de boer pickup too quick, you could see our defense was porous but no one seemed to notice, I sure wish we had Coach Saban back, sorry but I love defensive football even if its a 9 to 3 ball game.
