Good looking stove. I like the way you knocked off the corners of the hearth. I know I would break a pinky-toe on that. LOL Thanks for sharing

I love the “character building” of the children. I recently heard my grown children telling me of a memory they would have been more than happy to not have that was very similar.

Great Warm & Toasty Freeze Time. Jacob you know a Old Trailer does not matter about electrical wires, they are not safe to ever use again. Ya run new wires ya need any power to or have your Fire🔥Extinguishers🧯🧯🧯🧯🧯Locked & Loaded. Preaching to the Choir on this topic. From how that Old Trailer is wired, saving grace ya won't be wiring your new Home🌵🏠🌵this way. Ouch. I would of put a FireBoard 4/4 on the Ceiling & screwed in before Drilling Hole in Ceiling & Roof. Then also would of put a 2 inch space between the Old Trailer Wall & FireBoard to start with. Lets cool air flow freely in back of the board to keep from get'n HOT. You might just think about some Wire Supports outside on the Chimney from the top screwed in & at angle going out from & bracket screwed to roof. Winds can knock at Chimney You will need tar shingles around the base of the chimney. Rain & Ice & Snow melting has amazing ways to get in at the outside of the base into your living quarters. Do ya have your Smoke☁Detectors up & Carbon Monoxide Detector operational? I would not recomend the combo kind. You can also get a Metal Fan that from the heat of the Pot Belly sits on top & turns to throw Heat to the Rear of the Old Trailer. No batteries needed. They sell them on Amazon. Word to the wise, if you store any fire wood in the Old Trailer, make sure you keep it in a Sealed Container. Oh Jacob you can build one in your Power Station House/Wood-Shop/Laundry/Freezer/Multipurpos Room. The wood may be dried but the Bugs🪲🐞🕷🦗🪳🦟🪰you can not see👀in the Wood Scraps ya Burn most likely are some & don't want them crawling around. Just trying to think of anything & everything have past experienced & lived through. Ok, Whipper Snappers stay Safe & Warm. always, Tommy🤠

I stand by my comment on the previous video about removing that window & running the flue pipe though the opening with a sheet metal surround. However, you clearly had the ability to overcome the obstacles presented going vertically. Also, I think you have invented a new Olympic sport - the Telescoping Flue Pipe event. I can see it now.

Your upright parlor-style stove is very similar to mine. As for a chainsaw, I went with an 18 inch battery powered model.

Flue dampers are only used to close off a not in use stove so you don’t draft your inside air out. The flue damper should never be used to control the burn of your stove that is controlled with the intake or intake manifold. The Flue damper should remain open in full open mode when stove is in use.

Maybe you should should use tar on the roof there to seal it up real good to make sure it doesn't leak. Or Flex Seal would be even better. Hope you stay warm and dry this winter. Nice stove!

I love this so much! There is nothing like wood heat in the winter! That stove you found is a beauty! I laugh at your struggles, only because any project my husband and I tackle is never easy and rarely goes as planned! It’s nice to know others struggle, as well! 😂 You all are doing great! 😊 Looking forward to the next video! Have a great weekend!! ❤

With the damper being in it it will not expand
