I am an American doing something similar in Cameroon. My primary vision & focus is using business to empower humanitarian missions. I built the model in the US and worked with Cameroon for 5 years but when I officially came to Africa, everything in the US was stolen from me. I barely even had the funds to make it back. I literally came back to Africa by faith alone. I’m now in the process of rebuilding everything from the ground up internally from within Africa & it hasn’t been easy at all. All I have is faith & a vision but there are signs all around that it’s about to birth.
Work 6 months out of the year, and do whatever you want 6 months ...YUP! That's the dream. Right now I do 7mths in NY and the 5 hardcore winter months in Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia. ...But im working the whole time
You are blessed. I am happy for you. Are you doing freelance through upwork? I am a data analyst(statistician) and would like to have a job with that flexibility. Any idea where to apply?
We live in Kigali for now. We visited Tanzania(Dar Es Salam) in April, it was amazing. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to visit Zanzibar. It is always a pleasure to listen to like-minded people like you. It is soothing. we will definitely join you very soon! You are amazing!
I’m so happy for you, I’ve watched you grow slowly but surely, seems sometime you wanted to give up. You young lady you kept on moving until you found a niche, and off you went. Africa is🎉 yours it’s belongs to you and your children, let’s continue to Build The Africa That Wee Want. 1❤ 1🌍🇯🇲🇹🇿

@@africaisking7817hahaha a typical American all they ever worry about is how to exploit people in the continent, that's why I always caution my brothers and sisters in the continent before they start turning African countries into little American colonies with the help of their government like they did in Liberia
The only reason why most black Americans are going to Africa is economics has nothing to do with reconnecting with the continent and trying to make it an American colony just like they did in Liberia, they would bring segregation to Tanzania if the people of Tanzania are not vigilant
I don't agree with that. Economics' reasons may be the motivator of their presence in Africa but they won't be harmful for Africans. For, we are living in a time where Africans, themselves, are economically growing.
@@kariluckis8030 that was the case in Liberia it was wanting to reconnect first then it became economics and after consolidating power the locals were oppressed ,segregated and were denied voting rights that's why I would never trust them, there's a hidden agenda why black Americans all of a sudden want to come back to different countries in the continent, a continent most of them hate so much.I think they are working together with the muzungus
@kariluckis8030 problems are inevitable. The African people are already being victimized by being paid very little for their labor. AA who have moved there are there because their money (USD) goes much further and they're able to live extremely comfortable while locals are still poor and end up the servants. AA are no better than the "colonizers". They're only looking out for themselves to have better lives, they could care less about the people or the land. They don't try to learn the history at all. They've had education at their finger tips for hundreds of years now to learn something about Africa, but never gave a darn. Now they're going to just settle and become another problem. The single women go for the chea p er life, the men go in order to prey on women.
Ashley in Africa why are you deleting my comments about what the black American community did to the locals in Liberia, most black Americans don't want Africans to know what happened in Liberia, make a video on Liberia and people would know exactly how black Americans brought segregation to Liberia and why they wouldn't let the locals vote for over 100 years
Why is so stunning I thought black Americans hated Africans,is it because of economics or your people want to turn Tanzania into an American colony like you did in Liberia where you oppressed the locals denied them voting rights and and brought segregation to their country after you enriched yourselves and consolidated political power with the backing and financial support from the American government
