I have been following issues at Nkoranza. Did the Ohemaa accept him? I am surprised Mamponghene and others allowed him to the funeral as he has not sworn to Asantehene and accepted by the Ohemaa. In our culture, its our mothers that give us our lineage.

Nkoranza manhene doesn't swear any oath of allegiance to Otumfuo. He's only regarded as his father and Otumfuo also regard him as his son.

You don't know history. There are lands which the Asantehene fought and gave to his people ,Eg Nkoranza, Bechem, Goaso etc. He sent his servants or family members and no one can change it.
There are others who maintained their chiefs like Dormaahene, Sampa, Mo ect who can decide to join or not. Let no one deceive you, history cannot be distorted .
