If people actually took a breath and stepped away from the ledge for a moment, they might realize that Bo actually took a small but incremental positive step forward on Sunday against a very good defense. You might say his play went from horrible to bad but things are headed in the right direction....maybe by mid season they might get to slightly below average...and that would be ok with me. On Sunday, Bo threw for 72 more yards, 2.4 more yards per attempt, and took 5 fewer sacks than the #1 pick in the draft, Caleb Williams. And, Williams has a stronger supporting cast around him. So, why are some people in Denver freaking out about two poor games from Bo to start the season? Folks, step away from the ledge, take a breath, and let's see how this thing plays out. I for one think Bo will take another small positive step forward this week while still making rookie mistakes. Why? Because he's a rookie QB. I usually like what these two pundits have to say but I think they must have gotten a bad batch of Kool Aid and lost their orange colored glasses, or at least they got a little fogged up. Come on guys (Cecil and Andrew), get back on the bandwagon, it's getting a little lonely on the Bo Nix express!

Facing the top Defensive coaches for Bo’s first 4 games is tough. That’s hard for any QB let alone a rookie. We have the 5th hardest strength of schedule this year. I’ve watched Bo play for years. Trust me when I say he’ll get it together soon. We’ve got to let the rookie figure it out. And, on the touch sack, Bo’s foot slipped on the side of his cleats. Bo’s going to have a few games to get acclimated to the NFL. Plus WE HAVE ZERO PLAYMAKERS ON OUR ROSTER. NOT AT WR, NOT AT RB. Our WRs get no separation and when they do, they drop it. It’s hard for any QB when you can’t run the ball. It’s all been on the rookie QB to win the game by himself. The Russ trade killed our cap & years of 1st & 2nd round picks. We have to be patient and let the building of the team happen. IMO Bo will get better, even with this group. Just need to let them grow together as a team. Watch the rebuild process play out

Bo is further along than if he hadn't played these games. Needs help from the running game. Defense looks good.

Talking playoffs and comparing him to CJ Stroud in preseason set unrealistic expectations which was unfair to fans and the team. You reap what you sow
Idk about the self sack thing. Watt got his leg and tripped him on the second one. And he stood in and took some shots in both games.
Though I'm a perfectionist, I am arguably the slowest learner on planet Earth but once I get things straight...LOOK THE HECK OUT!! I see Mr. Nix as a slow learner, only because of what he is learning and how it all needs to stew together. It's like good chili, it is not done in 3 hours no matter what. After 8 hours, well now it's cooking; somewhere between 10-12 hours is when fabulous emerges.

Why doesn't anyone talk about the Defenses Bo is going up against. Our schedule is brutal. But if Bo can get better while facing top defenses, he will come out on the other side battle tested.

Ya that's what I been saying.. Seattle and Pittsburgh have some tough defenses. It's not an excuse but it's a reason for the offensive failures

If Nix is playing like he is now in 12 weeks, you take a look at Wilson. Nix can compete for a starting job in next year's training camp.

Anyone that thinks Bo has reached his potential and should be benched should be ignored and possibly mocked along with ridiculed! That is the most ridiculous statement that will do nothing cause even more pressure to a Young quarterback that is learning the NFL on the Fly. A Young quarterback that has zero running game which makes it literally impossible for any quarterback to be consistently successful! The comments I have been hearing by supposed Denver fans is mind-bending and proves those making that demand don't truly understand the game of football and the fact that there's 10 other people on the field that have to do their job perfectly for it to be successful
Sean has 2 veteran QBs, putting Bo in a position where there is this much pressure is irresponsible, Bo should not be starter and be switched to backup until he develops.

Bo shouldn't have started for at least the first month, Payton got caught up in media and preseason hype and may have ruined him.
He also has no run game because defenses are stacking the box and taking away the run. Basically saying there not afraid of what Bo can do 🤷🏽♂️
This season is about Bo, not the playoffs. Even the poster child of rookie success CJ Stroud started with 6 bad games. Bo is made up of the right stuff. If we take him off the high dive then Bo will be fine.

You do understand that his footwork and inaccuracy in part are a window into how he's seeing the field amongst high pressure. In training camp and preseason, everything is a bit slower and much simpler, and he thrived. As he gets more comfortable with the speed and defensive nuances, his footwork and accuracy will catch up to regular season football. Obviously, a more consistent running game would be a tremendous support. Let's not run Sean and Bo out of town. Your parents tried running Elway out of town for 2 years. This will work. Rome wasn't built in a day.
No quarterback will get 2 years in today’s society. Everyone is too impatient. You can’t compare the two situations.
Look at Stidy he got better after a year in the system be patient I have seen plenty of great rookies struggle over the years and many have won Super Bowls (Manning, Elway, Akiman I could go on
Why not some RPOs and more designed runs - Bo has good speed and is built to take occasional hits.

Last year the story was that Russ was too slow to learn Payton's offense and required a wristband. Then Payton hyped Nix as being really smart and a fast processor. Now Payton is talking about a dumbed down system for Nix
At some point people need to realize the issue isn't with every QB and more to do with his scheme, his instruction and/or his playcalling. Payton is the consistent piece in a rotation of players it's just not clicking with

What makes you think he’ll get better? He’s not an nfl starter Bro at best he could be one in 2-3 yrs but def not now he doesn’t have the arm and downfield accuracy and he doesn’t set his feet. He has trouble in the redline because the field is shorter and you really have to read a defense and thread the needle and throw into tight windows

Bo played the 2 worse opponents he could've had. Going to the best homecrowd, the 12th man, with the best DC in the game. Then he faced Tomlin who has insane record vs rookie QB's. Chill
I usually watch on the TV from the UK, but I was there at the Steelers game. I thought Bo looked liked a rookie, but I am still positive that he can be good. I dont think Payton has helped him. The play calling is quite frankly bizarre, and Bo hasnt been helped by drops in both games. The Steelers stacked the box all game, and put pressure on all game. Special teams and defence has been good so far, but its the lack of a running game and paytons play calling that seems to be the the issue.

I saw on the sack Watt get up and celebrate, I saw Bo look at him and just glare at him like oh yeah?? He's getting mad. And I like that about him. He's not walking to the sideline sad or crying or dejected. He isn't walking back to the sideline like Russ looking shell shocked or anything. He's getting pissed off. He's mad and frustrated. Hopefully that will turn into I don't want this to happen much anymore so I'm going to kick it into high gear and work even harder ( I know he is working hard right now as it is). I want him in the whole season. I don't want them to pull him.

In Bo's defense he has the worst receivers , tight ends , and running backs in the NFL ..Courtland Sutton is the only player who would see the field on any other team ..
The defense is much improved

Josh reynolds played for the lions last yr bro and it’s the same skill group every qb for us had the last 8 yrs ain’t nothing change for those QBs and we didn’t complain then we said it was the qb now we blaming the other talent because y’all want to protect the qb

I agree with you, but he’s unable to display any sort of patience because regardless of he was starting Stidham or Wilson, this offense would be terrible. And Broncos fans would be clamoring for Bo. He’s in a no-win situation. Granted, he out himself in that position, but still.
