    3:20 doesnt the De Broglie wavelength go up instead of down? And also genuine question, why does increasing the De Broglie wavelength make it behave more like a wave?

    Why do the photons only hit the atoms when they are travelling in the right direction to slow them down? And what happens to the energy in the photon?
