Poor guy. I imagine he felt better when it was over. I honestly don't know how I found this channel, but I feel like I've both been educated and entertained these last few months since. Lol. Your personality is very engaging.
What a blessing this vet is to cows! As a city girl, I've never thought that cows could get these huge, random abscesses. I'm glad he's there to help them.
Huge abscess in a very huge BULL. He may not have liked his side poked, but he’s going to be so much better now. I enjoyed watching how you teach and handle these situations. Your calmness has a real effect on the animals you treat. Thank you for another great video.
Enoch's videos are the best! He is very good with all of the animals he treats, and adds a bit of comedy sometimes. Each and every one is a different learning experience.
I wish my vet had your patience. You really take such good care of the animals and try and cause them as little stress as you can. I bet he feels so much better now that had been drained
So that is the largest beast I have seen you work with. He was one noble bull. I would be terrified being near him. He is mature with massive neck. And the abscess? Bulls size made it look smaller than it was. Oh for a full cattle crush like Mr Hoof GP.
Would be fun to put him over the scales. Didn’t know that breed got so big. Thankfully he was very quiet. Hate to think what he would have done if he played up. Interesting to watch his muscles relax as he realised you were helping him.
There appears to be a large bump on the top of his nose as well, is that a bruise or scar tissue? I know bulls get facial injuries doing what they do, so just curious if that was the result of one. Great and educational vid as always. You're fast with your hands when that big guy was moving! So easy to get crushed or broken hands!
Love that there’s a person with this specialized skill to care for these animals. I’m sure it’s been asked: “Why are there so many (videos of)cows getting abscesses?” I assume it’s from hormones or steroids or length of life in partial captivity or living conditions? Not saying any of these things are unhealthy per se - just the nature of the beast with animal husbandry.
😵💫 way to go! First, that bull was HUGE. Second, your practical and effective techniques are always spot on. I really love your UA-cam channel. Please share your back story some time. How did a young vet from Colorado end up in Australia? (I am a retired RNP-I live in a southern California coastal city known for its famous surf)
14:04 my two-year-old keeps rewinding it and rewinding it and rewinding it to watch that exact moment and laughs her head off!!! She asks to watch it at least twice a day randomly then will watch it nonstop about 💯x 😂 😂 😂 love it
Well done Sir. Between holding that scalpel blade bare handed and working with 5000 lbs of testosterone filled hamburger meat, these videos never get old. I hope you are okay, sounded like the blade did get your hand. Really appreciate the videos Dr. Bergman. Thank the patients, the ranchers, and your students if you can.
You’re such a swell guy 😏🤭 That bull visibly relaxed when that abscess deflated poor guy would be feeling pretty ordinary before . But wasn’t to keen when you filled it up again. Great job as always.
That title tho 😂great sense of humor you have,. I Feel bad the big boy, he had so much pain abscesses are so tender and sensitive boy do they hurt! he prob felt so much relief after .
Extra cheesy….love it!! I sure hope this big boy is feeling better. It was nice to see that once he realized that the pressure and pain was subsiding, that you were helping him, Enoch. Poor fella.
I still wince when the vet lances the abscess but I know they are doing it all for the well-being of the animal. I’ve said it before: thank goodness for those who care.
Thank God I live in the time where things can be numbed. I had an abscess under my collarbone and a doctor used one of those huge Qtips to clean it out. Even though he numbed it, I was begging him to stop
More often than not an animal’s injury is in an area that causes you difficulties. Like the bars of the pen being right where the vet needs to lance the abscess. I’m glad to see it’s not just my bad luck 😂
Can't say I blame the bull for a little dancing! That must have been a few litres of muck you got out of him! Interesting how he calmed down, once the internal pressure came off. 😀 On his behalf: "Thank you!!!"
I had a very small, relatively speaking, abscess once and the relief that came from lancing was incredible. So yes, i think it was something even a bull could notice!
Bulls this size are practically rhinos. We had one we could only handle safely (key word:: safely) was after he'd just field bred a new bunch of girls. I know all the McGivering we do on the farm, but that 24 or 22 blade held on a hemostat made me nervous, not that that size blade is sharp as a 10 blade scalpel is. I miss my cow days.
Poor guy. I imagine he felt better when it was over. I honestly don't know how I found this channel, but I feel like I've both been educated and entertained these last few months since. Lol. Your personality is very engaging.
This happened to me too
Forensics class showed your autopsy videos last week and I LOVED them!! Keep on keepin' on, man.
The muscles behind that boys neck are MASSIVE!! I just love this vet! Brave as all hell! Caption is Fantastic! 🤣
He might be on steroids 🤣
Just his hind legs are the same size as a human.
That bull was just a gentle giant... he was carrying alot of hidden contents but you certainly made sure you got it all! I love this channel!
That's a very well behaved, very large bull, in spite of having a very sore spot lanced!!
What a blessing this vet is to cows! As a city girl, I've never thought that cows could get these huge, random abscesses. I'm glad he's there to help them.
#Dizzy
Your crazy!
@@mike1968442 Why am I crazy?
It’s a bull, ma’am. And they are HUGE.
Abscesses are just SO satisfying! Gorgeous bull. He's nice too.
Huge abscess in a very huge BULL. He may not have liked his side poked, but he’s going to be so much better now. I enjoyed watching how you teach and handle these situations. Your calmness has a real effect on the animals you treat. Thank you for another great video.
What a beautiful gentle beast. Thank you for always treating them so kindly and efficiently 😻
Not kindly!
@@garfle1959 roll up and try it out yourself man. See if you can get it done more 'kindly'.
If I was a big ole bull with a nasty an ess, I would for sure ask for you. Your caring and experience speaks loudly here. Bravo.
Great job. What a beautiful bull. He's enormous.
Boy it just doesn’t stop! The gift that keeps giving. That was quite a challenge for you. I enjoy watching you. I’m glad I’m not there to smell it💕
Always a pleasure watching someone who knows what they’re doing.
Now THAT was an abscess! Your patience knows no bounds 🐮🐮 The flies would drive me mad! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Enoch's videos are the best! He is very good with all of the animals he treats, and adds a bit of comedy sometimes. Each and every one is a different learning experience.
OMG, what an abscess that big boy had. Great that the kids learned to use what is available to get the job done. Great teach Dr. Enoch!
I love this channel. I grew up on a farm, so I’ve been around cows and horses, even though I was afraid of them. Bull is huge.
Love this vet. And his humor
Thank you for helping this beautiful bull, he certainly must feel much better. Your kindness and gentleness shows how much you must care for animals.
That was so disgusting, I’m so glad that the vet was as gentle as he could be! Hoping the bull feels better quickly!
I wish my vet had your patience. You really take such good care of the animals and try and cause them as little stress as you can. I bet he feels so much better now that had been drained
Good lord that thing was huge!!!! I loved every minute of it 😁 love to watch you work ❤️
That's got to feel better! Wow- alotta material in there. Grt job Dr. Enoch, I'd love to be your student.
Man that’s a big ole bull. Amazing how much pus he can generate, and how huge the abscess can get.
So that is the largest beast I have seen you work with. He was one noble bull. I would be terrified being near him. He is mature with massive neck. And the abscess? Bulls size made it look smaller than it was. Oh for a full cattle crush like Mr Hoof GP.
He was too big to even go up the race! Big big boy!
Would be fun to put him over the scales. Didn’t know that breed got so big. Thankfully he was very quiet. Hate to think what he would have done if he played up. Interesting to watch his muscles relax as he realised you were helping him.
I don’t think he would fit in Graeme’s crush!
I love watching this stuff. Knowing that animal will feel a whole lot better.
8:15 "Back up son."
Bull: "No. Nope. No I dont wanna"
I've never seen a bull that big in my life!!! He's big on screen, but he must've been absolutely HUGE in person!
Can’t wait to see him when he grows big and strong 💪 thank you for the cool pimple pop
Thanks for sharing
Love your work
Has to be a huge relief. Thanks for all you do guys.
As always, doc....they don't make em like you anymore! Pure Awesome-sauce!
Get it??? Awesome SAUCE??!! 😆 🤣 😂 😹
I had to pause just to laugh when you said, "His abscess sure looks abscess-y" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That beast is absolutely MASSIVE!
You’re too much 😂 I love the title I absolutely just died when I got the notification but I wouldn’t have you any other way you’re amazing
Exactly what I thought!! Hilarious! 😂😆 That’s a huge bull!
I like how you call him son. Do a great job. Fantastic flush. Loved this one
That is one handsome big bull. Glad he got relief from this abcess

Came here to ask the same question. Seemed pretty odd to me but im more rabbits than cattle!
I came to ask the same question!!
@@4124jo He actually answers this question in his follow up video and yes it was scar tissue on the big guys face.
Bravo
It’s so impressive seeing people at the top of their profession and this guy is right at the top. Great work

This vet is such a smart ass. I love it.
Know its been a year, but what could cause such a large abcess like that one?
Thank you for helping this bull out.👏
Normally a bug bite that gets infected

Poor baby. That has to be excruciating 😢
Wow, can really see just how thick that hide is with how hard you had to push to get the blade in.
Bro thats why blade made for
@@dunno7260 Did you read what I said?
I dunno english bro.
You always have a crazy video for us right🤏🥴😂🤣. Hope you have a great weekend 🌞
WOW! It takes a lotta guts for a man to stand behind a beast as huge as that and poke its bum with a scalpel! Kudos Plus!
Well done Sir. Between holding that scalpel blade bare handed and working with 5000 lbs of testosterone filled hamburger meat, these videos never get old. What a good bull he was. I do love an Enoch abcess story! 😂
I have a huge crush on this hot vet! Seriously!!
Extra cheesy….love it!! I sure hope this big boy is feeling better. It was nice to see that once he realized that the pressure and pain was subsiding, that you were helping him, Enoch. Poor fella.
That bull is Gi-Normous!! TY for video.
Does he have one on his snout also? Cool video.
Beautiful bull!
What a wonderful bull he stood still for a lot of poking before shaking his head no. But even then he was pretty cordial.
I LOVE the title of this one! You are awesome.
You are an amazing vet!
i wonder why if they cant feel it being cut open because of the numbing of the abscess. then why do they freak out so much when it happans.
Because,as Doc has said before," bills do not like being touched." Period.😬
I still wince when the vet lances the abscess but I know they are doing it all for the well-being of the animal. I’ve said it before: thank goodness for those who care.
That is a huge bull. He must feel so much better without that gallon of pus on his hip.
Wow that's one big cyst. Glad you drained it he has got to feel better.
He did! Check up the follow up video!
The commentary is my favorite part!! 😂😂😂
I really enjoy these videos
Veterinarian from the US here, and a microbiology professor. Why do you so rarely wear gloves during field procedures? Genuinely curious.
Hands are washable. It's a non sterile field anyway
Every time I watch one of these lancings I think to myself, "do these guys know you can buy handles for those scalpel blades?"
That's better than a full ton of extra prime Angus breed stock. Big boy!
Big boy. I bet he was happy after all thay crap drained
Damn! He's a big lad!
Love watching your videos
That was awesome 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 & YOUR SO FUN TO WATCH ❣️❤️🫶🏼❤️❣️🫶🏼🐾🫶🏼🥰🥰🥰🥰👍🏼👌🏼
Does the bull have an abscess on his face also?
I was wondering that too.
Yes he did, we lanced it as well. Cheers!
You da MAN. What an awesome abscess.
BIG BOY! Great job.
Abscess on his nose too, or not?
Holy crap that's the biggest one I ever seen even on Dr pimple popper, great job doc.
Damn that's a big bull.
The abscess that keeps on giving.
I wonder if he addressed the sinus abscess too...
Thank God I live in the time where things can be numbed. I had an abscess under my collarbone and a doctor used one of those huge Qtips to clean it out. Even though he numbed it, I was begging him to stop
Enoch- guess you won't have to do any arm curls tonight, that was a workout!
That looked liked it really hurt. Glad it was taken care of.
That bull looks massive
More often than not an animal’s injury is in an area that causes you difficulties.
Like the bars of the pen being right where the vet needs to lance the abscess.
I’m glad to see it’s not just my bad luck 😂
Actually that bar came in handy to redirect a lot of that mess...! ;)
What does the bull have on the ridge of his nose?
Looking for another video of this same bull....looks like he has a big abscess on his face too.
Wow that was a massive massive absence though absence that bow must have been thanking your thanking your praises
Good job Knockers!! No chunks worthy of the pool room though. Hahahahahahahahahaha cheers Ausgranny 🤶🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍👍👍👍🐄
Does he have another on his face?
A great looking bull. You do good work with these larger cattle, I prefer working with goats
