12:00 that is how a lot of old BN locomotives used to look right as the merger happened. Quick Paint jobs or re-numbering to BNSF numbers. Even remember seeing BNSF quickly painted in white on the side of the still green BN locomotives during that time. Most have been painted to the pumpkin of various patterns (depending on when they got around to it H1 H2 or H3). Also that Warbonnet bit on the lead loco was probably a replacement part pulled from a doner and just wasn't painted to match yet.
0:44 Three container trains at once. nice. 2:01 nice to see an ex-metroliner inspection car 5:20 WOW! a caboose at the very end of a train without any special cars. (It would've been placed next to the depressed flatcars 8:51 that's a lot of NS in Arizona 9:19 so that new siemens coach isn't testing on Amtrak midwest yet 10:58 The Southwest Chief didn't stop at La Plata and took the wrong track?! 11:22 that B40-8W has a nice horn! 15:15 quite a lot of CSX hoppers on two different trains
Yeah, I saw it at 9:06... it got a little crispy... I've been surprised over the years how many GE's have fires like that, in comparison to the EMD's. Does anyone have any info on that NS that was in this video? Is it battery powered? Do they recharge the batteries during regenerative braking?
1:56 What is an Amfleet car doing with the BNSF? And it has the wrong type of trucks! Amfleet cars normally have trucks where the wheel bearings are on the inside, not outside.
They tried and tried, but couldn't "contain" Horseshoe Curve! Most trains, used to have a caboose. Now, a caboose is very rare, to see on a train. Thanks to women, all over the world, they have kept the tradition going, by having a caboose, behind them! ATTENTION ALL GEESE: Ashland, Virginia has a full time escort, for those of you, with babies. Please call City Hall, and ask for Mother Goose.

That was testing on the Northeast Corridor. Now it's going back to Caltran
Virtual railfan should install camera systems at the Wisconsin dells, Wisconsin train station
